INTRODUCTION
• An organization is a planned co-ordination of a number of people.
• The achievement of some specific goals through division of labour,
and hierarchy of authority.
• An organizational study involves the study of the structure and
functioning of its departments.
• Eastern condiments pvt ltd adimali was selected for the
organization study.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
Primary objective
• To understand the organization structure and processes in a practical setting.
Secondary objectives • To have an overall understanding of the company and to familiarize with its various
functions
• To get an idea about how different functional departments are structured and how
each one of them operate
• To know how the key business processes are being carried out in a manufacturing
firm.
• To understand the various policies and programmes of the firm.
LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
• The findings need not be conclusive but only indicative.
• Area of concentration was mainly eastern condiments adimali.
• The time span of this project was very limited to collect all the

• The eastern group of companies founded by Mr. M.E. Meeran, and it was
established in 1969.
• The first name of the company was “eastern trading company”.
• In 1975 eastern agency started in adimali town. in 1983 the company started its
operation by the name eastern coffees& curry powder.
• The “eastern condiments pvt. Ltd started in 1991.
• With a dream, making good products available to the common man at the right
prices., is a pioneer in the state to produce packaged curry powders, masala
powders, spices and coffee powder.

• The company got prestigious award for outstanding export performance.
• The company’s own vehicles undergoing distribution aids to give an important mode of
advertisement
• Departments are computerized and it helps to easy handling of jobs.
• The company spends small amount for advertisement.
• Increasing the exports also helps the company to increase its market share.
SUGGESTIONS
• Eastern have to advertise their product through media advertising
• Eastern have to improve their compensation package and make them
competitive.
• Eastern have to reduce the cost of production and reduce the price of
its product
• The meal provided to the workers and staffs is good and appreciating
• The company have to take its own measure to retain the employees
within the organisation and try to reduce employees turn over.
• The company should take its own measure to train and develop
the career of the employees who are working with the company.
• The company should ensure the discipline, punctuality and
timing of the employees.

• The company should also employee freshers rather than
experienced persons,

CONCLUSION
• The organizational study conducted at eastern condiments pvt. ltd., was a
general study regarding all functions and aspects of eastern condiments
pvt. ltd.,
• It has been primarily focused on human resource, marketing, finance,
production, and export & E.D.P.
• The key factor in the growth of eastern is the good and healthy employer-
employee relationship.
• Eastern is not supporting any political or trade union activities inside the
company.
