• Create strong and reliable connection with young people

• Young people’s life story must be heard in environment which feels natural and save to the young

• We should give space and respect to the young people. The Young people is the heart and the crystal and on the other hand, he/she is an adult…?

• Young people will be directed hands –on to the services which are needed and accepted

DevelopmentDevelopment should focus to the group activities

Problem is not to find target group, but find services needed fast enough (can we influence to the services?)

There should be young people’s “home base” for group activities, and for talking, cooking and just for hanging too. (Like we are doing in basic youth work)

Group activities should be something where young people can wait right service. At the same they learn regularity, responsibility and it is possible turn the gaze in to the future.

Young people’s services should be planned comprehensively supportive. Outreach Youth Work should be expert of knowing rapidly changing situations, needs and expectations

Young people says:

• ”sometimes I feel like society is pushing me out”

• ”someone can be unemployed, outsider from the work, like I am, but it doesn’t make me an outcast person” (NEET)

• ”how can anybody expect that I can go to the school from the gutter and I take care of bills and I live on with that kind sum of money when the reality is that I don’t have enough money to buy train tickets so that I can go to the school. Then they expect that I pay my debt and then I wait couple of years, and then, but just maybe, they could give me apartment. And all the time I must act normally, like everything would be all right”.
