Waterfowl Identification and Surveying Thisgroupofbirds(ducks, geese, andswans)enjoyswidespreadpopularity.Their large sizemakes themeasy toobserve, identify, count, and study. Many species travel long distances during migration and depend onwetlands in various countries. Therefore, international cooperation fortheconservationofnaturalresources, suchaswetlands, is important formigratorywaterbirds.
