What is CableGuard?

Step 1:

The clamping elements are fitted over the cable.

The Clamping brackets are fitted onto the clamping elements, and bolted together using the bolts, nuts and

washers included.

The two closure halves are clipped over the clamping assembly.

Materials

Components are injection moulded from reinforced engineering polymers for strength and corrosion resistance

Natural soil compaction and settling in of the component parts results in improved tensile strength with time

Field Testing

Use of CableGuard does not adversely affect the cable’s current rating, or any other performance aspects.

The CableGuard system was tested against a 4-wheel-drive Land Rover, an 8-ton truck, a double–diff mechanical horse and a Caterpillar 427 front end loader.
