The branding revolved around a survey into the use patterns that users may require from the cleaner. Users favoured portability; this would allow versatility in use, from the kitchen to camping.Prior survey s revealed the presence of moisture (dew) on produce

alluded to freshness, when purchasing produce. The logo thus focused on supporting the notion of moisture as an

indicator of cleanliness.

Users purchase and customise the planters online. Plants may be potted at home.Cacti, succulents and moss offer the best stability and tolerance given turbulence and maintenance concerns. The plants may later be transplanted to a park or roof/balcony garden offering the user direct contact with nature for longer periods

The hexagonal elements are made offsite and later fastened to a grid below the surface covered protective fall surfacing such as with mulch to conceal fasteners from children. The core units are equipped with clog-free V-wire drains to eliminate stagnant water. this arrangement alllows for variability of layout and

separation of playzones by age and play manner

The concept behind the pass focuses on the space and the people. The congress celebrates intellectuals from across the nation and beyond who converge to share ideas and experiences on various levels. The conference takes place at an academic centre where these individuals will share a common place and territory. The ravens pass concept aims rstly to provide the attendees a platform for free exchange of ideas and a point of reection and relaxation. Sec-ondly it offers non attendees a point of interaction with the vibrant activity at Carleton, during and after the congress. The concept aims to connect people from various walks of life by giving them an environment that encourages and facilitates exchange and contemplation. The congress attendees may use it during a lunch session for breaks or as an external discussion point while enjoying the outdoor environment provided by the park and canal, with a view of Carleton’s main centers, Dunton tower, the university centre. The pass is located in area that is frequented by walker and joggers, and these non attendees will hopefully stop by and absorb the experience of the congress and the greatCarleton spirit

The structure cuts into the terrain across a path, pausing movement and inviting the individual to recess and engage them-selves. The south wall offers benches while the north remains open to a clear view of the canal and Carleton. The path leads to a terrace where a diagonal wall accommodates the private exchange while remaining open to the surroundings. The path is constructed from cobble stones gathered from the surroundings, making use of the natural habitat in order to blend with it.The tree is intended to be a contemplative rest point within the structure, a place of rest under the woody shelter.A speaker say may transfer their discussion to this place in order to engage in a more intimate discussion between peers, in small groups or large numbers. The knowledge hub need not be afliated with the congress to be used but merely offer a platform for furthering of intellectuals on a personal level

LAYOUT> access to the pass is north- south oriented allowing the structures emphasis on the path to the rising and the setting of the sun >promincence is given by elevated pedestal at the tree entrance to emphase hierachy bon the east-west stage.
