Design of Log-Periodic Dipole Antennas.Yatskevich V. A., Alexandrov V. S.The simple design procedure of classical log-periodic dipole antennas including determination of geometrical parameters and the sizes of the antenna and the subsequent calculation of its characteristics by means of the popular computer program is proposed. The results of certification of decimeter wave band television antennas are used to substantiate calculation accuracy.

Modelling of the Superwide-Dband Slot-Hole Aerial of a Running Wave with Controlled Polarizing Sensitivity.Avdeev V. B., Ashihmin A. V., Berdyshiv A. V., Nekrylov V. M., Pasternak Yu. G.With the help of numerical modelling opportunities of a design of the superwide-band aerial with the controlled polarizing sensitivity constructed on the basis of crossed slot-hole printed structures of the running wave are investigated. For definition of dependence of wave resistance from width of cracks it is developed and used a method of Monte Carlo modified for a case of layered dielectric of the decision of the differential equation corresponding to Gauss law. Achievable entrance characteristics and the directed properties of the offered superwide-band slot-hole aerial of a running wave with controlled polarizing sensitivity at two possible ways of excita-tion of cracks are analysed.

Modelling of the Measuring Aerial Constructed on the Basis of the Combination Flat and Volumetric Bicones.Ashihmin A. V., Nekrylov V. M.The simple, practically flat design of the small-sized broadband aerial combining flat and volumetric biconical vibrators is offered. On the bottom frequency of a working wave band the electric length of the aerial makes approximately 1/15 part of length of a wave, thus the maximum level of factor of a standing wave on a voltage on an input of the aerial does not exceed 4. The opportunity of function-ing of the aerial in a strip of working frequencies with factor of overlapping equal 75 is shown.

Electrodynamecs Modeling of Resonance Slot Antenna Array of the Finite Size with Additional Reflector Elements.Strizhkov V. A.On the basis of analogue of integrated equation Pocklington for a magnetic field some features of radiation of finite slot antenna array with additional reflectors and the distributed modes of excitation are investigated. It is estimated: influence on parameters of an-tenna array of regional effects, type of excitation and an additional reflector.

Radiating stripe line with modulated wave impedance.Fedotov A. Yu.The opportunity of creation of the antenna as a section of a long line with varying wave impedance is shown. The procedure of calchlate of such antenna permiting to define the law of change of with strip line along the line depending on the required directional pattern (DP), wich choose out of a class realizable DP. Superwide-Band Antennas Arrays on a Basis of Printed Biconical Vibrators with the Metal Screen.Avdeev V. B., Ashihmin A. V., Berdishev A. V., Pasternak Yu. G., Popov I. V.On the basis of numerical modelling with the help of the software package "Zeland" prospects of use printed biconical vibrator with the metal screen are proved as a base element of superwide-band flat antennas arrays of normal (axial) radiation. On the basis of the analysis of results of calculations of the basic characteristics of the offered various types of antennas arrays and their variants of bringing voltage preferable designs, in particular, a compact square array from four base elements, with bringing voltage by the ir-regular on width are revealed by a strip line. It is shown, that the factor of overlapping achievable in such array on frequency makes not less than 3.

Choice of the Optimum Configuration of the Array Antenna, Placed on the Mast, in Mobile Direction Finding Com-plex of VHF-UHF Ranges (-0 MHz).Dubrovin A. V.The technique of a choice of an optimum configuration by the eight-level array antenna placed on a mast, for a direction finding com-plex of VHF-UHF ranges is offered at presence constructive, technological, overall dimensions and electromagnetic restrictions. The configuration of the array antenna, having the best parameters from the point of view of reception of the best accuracy of direction finding at a minimum level of lateral petals of likelihood function (the diagram of an orientation) is offered.

Investigations and Potimtzation of Requirements to Antennas of the Point-to-Multipoint Communication Betworks of Millimetric and Centimetric Wave Bands.Levchendo S. N., Skorodumov A. Ya.The investigation and system parameters optimization were carried out for antennas and masts of mobile stations of the point-to-multipoint communication networks operating at millimetric and centimetric wave bands. It is shown, that for the preset conditions there are exsist optimum values of antennas gains and axial asymmetry patterns that provide maximum communication range.

N.The mathematical models for estimation of resulting accuracy of antenna's nonlinear measurements deal with theory of interval analysis are given. Some methods of integral estimation of measurements errors are described. The review also presented some practical recommendation for application of interval analysis method into sphere of antenna's measurements.

Instrumental Errors of Full Power Gain Factor Measurement of Aperture Antenna of Arbitrary Polarization in Microwave and UHF Ranges.Anisimov L. A., Heiman V. D., Pasmanik L. A.The analysis of instrumental errors of aperture gain factor single measurement in microwave UHF ranges is given. The equations of gain factor measurements using two and three antenna methods are derived. Using these equations we obtain formulae for calcula-tion of instrumental errors of gain factor measurement in accordance with errors defined by measurement equipment.

A.The question of control of the illumination field in operating volume of measuring complexes is examined. The method of evaluation of illumination field structure with considerable distortion based on measuring of the diagram of backward scattering of the test sys-tem consisting of two scatters and evaluating of parameters of the analyzed field on the movement trajectory of one scatter and lin-ear approximation of the field parameters within the whole operating volume is suggested. The results of mathematical modeling of resetting of the illumination field with regard of reflection of electromagnetic wave from the earth surface are given.

V.The algorithm of adapting array, obtained as a result of development is considered known Algorithm of adapting by matching with the measurement standard, originally offered B. Widrow. The algorithm differs by that as the measurement standard the amplitude of a useful signal is used only. The modification of algorithm was executed with application of methods artificial Neural Networks. The en-gineering method of synthesis antenna array is offered on the basis of the modified algorithm.

Field intensity of goniometric antenna radiation with dipole in near and far regions.Pakhomov I. A.Formulas for calculation electric and magnetic field intensity of loop antennas, located on z0y and z0x planes, are derived. With the help of obtained formulas calculation of electric field in near and far regions goniometric antenna with dipole is implemented. Goni-ometric antenna consist of two equal loops, located on z0y and z0x planes, whose centers are positioned on coordinate origin.

Increase of detection range of hardly noticeable radar targets at use of UWB signals.Lagovsky B. A.The adaptation of radiating and receiving radar systems to the characteristics of reflection of the complex radar-tracking targets is carried out. It allows essentially increase the signal-to-noise merit in a received signal at use of UWB signals. The methods of forma-tion and processing of UWB signals based on radar-tracking measurements of the characteristics of reflection and mathematical models of the targets are offered.

Investigation of metal-dielectric resonator with a thin metal film.Belov Yu. G., Kudryavtsev A. M., Pikhtelev N. A.The cylindrical microwave resonator with dielectric bush and metal film on its internal surface is investigated. The results of research of influence of dielectric bush's parameters and film's thickness on characteristics of resonator are represented and analyzed. The questions of practical application of such resonator and, in particular, the possibility of its using for determination of rubidium's quan-tity in the cell of rubidium standard of frequency or in spectral lamp are considered.

R.Results of experimental investigation of electrical characteristics of nonsymmetrical coaxial log-periodic antenna (NCLPA) in more high frequencies than frequency independent range are presented. It is shown, that NSLPA has good matching with a feeder and more high directivity in additional frequency range.

Synthesis of antennas with a small field area in a near zone.Katsenelenbaum B. Z., Levin B. M.Three types of small-sized unsuperdirective antennas designs are described, in which near zone there is an area with a small field. This area is formed as a result of mutual suppression of antenna various sections radiation. The electrodynamics calculation meth-ods (analysis and synthesis) of such antennas are given.

The Influence of a Conducting Ground on Radiation of an Elementary Vertical Electrical Dipole in the Band of Frequency 300-3000 kHz.Katin S. V., Shorokhova E.A., Kashin A. V.The influence of a conducting ground on radiation of the electromagnetic waves by an elementary electrical dipole located in an air in the band of frequency 300-3000 kHz is studied; using the duel integral Fourier transformation the exact solution of the problem about radiation of the electrical dipole nearby boundary between air and stratified grounding structure is obtained; the longitudinal compo-nent of the electric field, and the radiation resistance in relation to geometrical and electrophysical parameters of the problem are calculated numerically and analyzed.

The getting singular integral representations (SIR) of electromagnetic field components allow to compute this field in any point of space by integrating of

Transformation invariants of impedance arc through a linear reciprocal passive lossless two-port.Borodulin A. A.It is established experimentally that by continuously varying the bias of a semiconductor diode, its impedance maps out an arc of a circle in the complex plane. Two functions of the geometric parameters of the arc are derived that are invariant under the transforma-tion of the arc through a linear reciprocal passive lossless two-port. It is shown that values of these invariants determine the charac-teristics of an analog controlling device with a given diode.

Synthesis of Anizotropic Impedance Plane.Yu.V. Yukhanov The problem of synthesis of anizotropic impedance plane reflecting a plane uniform wave in a given direction at the desired polarization is solved. The distribution of the impedance is expressed analytically and constitutes a periodic structure. The analysis of matrix channel is carried out for calculation of limit channel capacity. The results of numerical analysis illustrate the possibility of achieving high transmission speed for communication systems with Space Division Multiply Access (SDMA). It was shown that it is not necessary to have big diversity of the signal sources to achieve this speed. It is possible to build portable antennas with more than 2 space subchannels.
