SCENE 1 - IN THE MIDST

Fades in

INT - Carpet forest - Day

Audio - Loud vacuum sound with dramatic music

The ants are holding onto the carpet for dear life whilebeing shaken from the changing direction.

CAMERA PANS ROUND TOVIEW ALL OF THE ANTSFROM LEFT TO RIGHT

The ants look at each other. Noticing Elizabeth isstruggling with holding on, sliding further down the carpetstrand

CAMERA ZOOMS TO ACLOSE UP OFELIZABETH

CAMERA PANS TO SGT.MLLER STILL IN CLOSE

UP

Being the closest to her Sgt. Miller reaches out as far ashe can to Elizabeth

SGT. MILLER

[Shouting] Grab my hand!

CAMERA ZOOMS OUT TOSHOW JUST SGT MILLER

AND ELIZABETH

ELIZABETH

[Reaching out her hand][Screaming] I Cant reach it!

CAMERA CUTS TO ACLOSE UP OF THEIR

HANDS THEN CUTS BACKTO THE TWO ANTS

While trying to grab Sgt. Millers hand Elizabeth looses hergrip and is sucked up into the sky

SUCKED UP INTO THEDARKENSS

CAMERA CUTS TO SGTMILLER IN CLOSE UP

SGT MILLER[Distraught] Nooooo!

In his distress of seeing Elizabeth getting sucked up rightin front of him Sgt. Miller looses his grip on the carpetand is sucked into the sky

CAMERA FOLLOWS SGTMILLER GETTING

SUCKED UP INTO THEDARKNESS

CAMERA PANS AROUNDTO A SHOT OF ANTJONES AND WILFRED

After seeing half of their team sucked up into the sky AntJones and Wilfred look at each other, nod, and withoutsaying a word willing let go and get sucked into the sky

CAMERA FOLLOWS ANDJONES AND WILFRED

GETTING SUCKED INTOTHE DARKNESS

THE CAMERA CONTINUSTO ZOOM INTO THEDARKNESS UNTIL THESCRENN IN NOTHING

BUT BLACK

SCREEN FADES TO FULL BLACK

VACUUM SOUND SLOWLY FADES OUT

SCENE 2 - THE MISSION

CAMERA FADES IN

CAMERA IS AT THEBACK OF THE BRIEFINGROOM LOOKING TOWARDS

The four ants are sitting in scattered chairs in thebriefing room which contains an incomplete map on the wall.The ant General is pacing back and forth at the front of theroom.

GENERAL

[Pacing back and forth]You're probably wondering why we'vegathered you four here today. Iregret to tell you that thiscologny is in food crisis and weneed assistance. You four have beenspecifically hand picked to takepart in a mission that could alterthe life of this colony for thebetter.

THE CAMERA CUTS TOTHE FRONT OF THECLASS TO SHOW THE

ANTS

The ants all look around at each other with confused facestrying to work out what it could be.

CAMERA CUTS BACK TOBACK OF THE ROOMLOOKING AT THE

GENERAL

GENERALIt is said that at the end of thismap

[Pointing to the map on the wall]There is a legendary restaurantthat is said to have portions asbig as the entire colony.

[Short Pause]What we need you to do, is findthem. Your team consists of the

SCENE 3 - JOURNEY BEGINS

CAMERA RISES FROM GROUND BEHIND THE CHARACTERS

EXT - EXIT OF THE COLONY

CAMERA RISES FROMGROUND TO REVIELSUNRISE WITH THECHARACTERS FACING

THE SUN

The ants are making the last final preparations making surethey have everything, ready to set off. Ant Jones steps tothe front of the group and turns to face them

CAMERA CUTS TO ANTJONES CLOSE UP

ANT JONESWe have a long journey ahead of us,its not going to be easy, and itsgoing to be dangerous. I hopeyou're all prepared for it. We knowwhere we're going up until thegiant building, but from therewe're on our own.

[Passionate and excited]Now lets go!

CAMERA CUTS TO THEOTHER THREE ANTS

The other three ants give nods of approval and with a lookof excitement mixed with fear in their eyes they set offwith Ant Jones.

JOURNEY

The ants are walking for a long time through the grassforrest and to represent the passing of time frames of them

walking fade in and out in different positions of the screenuntil finally they arrive at the base of the house.

THE CAMERA CUTS INAND PANS FROM THEANTS LOOKING UP AT

THE HOUSE TO THEHOUSE

Stunned by how huge the house is the ants, apart from AntJones, stand in disbelief staring up at the house.

CAMERA CUTS TO ANT

JONES CLOSE UP

Ant Jones is staring at the house but rather then looking uphe is looking at the base, where he has noticed a crack.

ANT JONESThere!

[Pointing at the crack]

CAMERA CUTS TO THECRACK IN THE WALL

FROM A MEDIUM

DISTANCEThats how we'll get in!

The other ants strain their eyes and look for the crack theAnt Jones is talking about.

We see the ants squeeze through the crack into the house

SCENE 4 - IN THE HOUSE

After the last ant is out the crack the first the the antssee if a thick forest of carpet

ANT JONESNone of us know where we're goingfrom here and what could lye ahead.We need to stick together and movefast to try and find the resturantas quickly as possible.

CAMERA CUTS TO ASHOT OVER ANT JONES

SHOULDER TO SHOW THEOTHER ANTS WHILE HEIS ADRESSING THEM

I think we should head straightinto this forest ahead of us butstay on gaurd. Is everyone ok withthat?

The other ants nod and they head towards the carpet forest

Different shots of the ants travelling through the carpetforest fade in and out on different parts of the screen to

represnt travlling for a long period of time.

THE SHOTS STOPFADING IN AND OUT

AND SHOW THE ANTSWALKING THROUGH THEFOREST FROM BEHIND

While walking the ants notice a vacuum sound starting tobuild up and get louder and louder. The wind is alsostarting to pick up making the carpet lightly blow from side

to side

CAMERA CUTS TO ANTSJONES CLOSE UP

ANT JONES[Reassuring] Dont panic everyone,it feels as if the wind is reallystarting to pick up, we'll keepmoving but we may need to stop ifthis gets worse.

CAMERA CUTS TO A

SIDE ON SHOT OF THEANTS WALKING

The ants continue walking but very quickly the wind picks upand the ants are starting to feel as if they are starting tobe sucked up to the sky.

CAMERA PANS ALONGALL THE ANTS ANDSTOPS AT ANT JONES

ANT JONES[Slight Panic but keeping his cool]Ok everyone we have to stop now!Grab hold of anything you can anddont let go whatever you do.

As the ants start holding on the wind picks up greatly andthe ants start to be taken off of their feet

LOW CAMERA SHOTPANNING ROUND TO

SHOW THE ANTS

HOLDING ON

The ants are screaming in a panic and the vacuum sound isextremely loud, almost ear piercing for the ants.

THE CAMERA CUTS TO APERSON VACUUMING INTHE CARPET AMD THE

SOUND IS LOWER

CAMERA CUTS BACK TOTHE AND AND THEN

BACK TO THE PERSONVACUUMING THEN BACKTO THE ANTS

Cut to opening scene.

SCENE 5 - INSIDE THE VACUUM

CAMERA FADES IN

INT - INSIDE THE VACUUM CLEANER

CAMERA FADES IN TODIM LIT ROOM WITH

ANT JONES PASSED OUTFACE DOWN

Ant Jones slowly wakes up and lifts his head. He coughs dueto the dust and is shortly on his feet

ANT JONES[To himself] Where am I? Where iseveryone?

CAMERA PANS AROUNDTO SHOW ANT JONES

PERSPECTIVE

Not being able to see too well Ant Jones calls out to theants

CAMERA CUTS TO ANTJONES SHOUTING INTO

THE DIM LIGHT

ANT JONES[Shouting] Wilfred! Elizabeth! Sgt.Miller! Can any of you hearme?![slight pause] Hello?! Are anyof you there?!

CAMERA IS LOOKINGINTO THE DIM LIGHT

WILFREDAnt! Where are you?! Follow myvoice!

ANT JONESWilfred is that you! Im coming!

Ant Jones starts running to where the sound of the voicecame from

CAMERA FOLLOWS ANTJONES RUNNING ALONG

ANT JONES[Shouting] Wilfred!

WILFRED[Shouting] Ant! Where are you?!

Ant gets closer and closer to the sound until he runsstraight into Wilfred, Sgt. Miller and Elizabeth.

CAMERA HAS A HIGHANGLE SHOT SHOWING

ALL FOUR ANTSTOGETHER

ANT JONES[Thrilled] I cant believe you'reall ok, im so happy!

The ants hug each other

ELIZABETH[Excited] Ant have you looked

around?! We found it!!

ANT JONES[Confused] Found out?

Ant Jones looks around at the floor and notices itshundereds of crumbs from food, enough to feed the wholecolony for a year.

CAMERA CUTS DOWN TOSHOW THE CRUMBS THENCUTS BACK UP TO THEANTS CELEBRATING

[Shouting with excitement] We didit! We found the restaurant!

The ants start cheering and celebrating while eating food.While celebrating the ants notice something moving the theshadows. The slowly stop eating and a silence comes over allof them

CAMERA CUTS TO THEDIM LIT ROOM ANDSHOWS A SHADOW

FIGURE MOVING IN THE

BACKGROUND

Two bright red eyes appear in the darkness and the ants herea loud roar.

CAMERA CUTS TO THEANTS STANDING IN A

ANT JONES[Calmly] I guess it's not over yetyou guys. Are you ready for this?

CAMERA FADES TO BLACK

'To Be Continued' appears on screen then fade to black.
