The author’s name is Gennifer Choldenko and the genre is historical fiction. In this book a kid named Moose and his sister named Natalie go with their parents to Alcatraz Island in 1935. The other characters are Piper, Theresa, Jimmy, and Annie. The main conflict is the characters got stolen by three cons, Seven Fingers, One Arm Willy, and Buddy Boy. In the resolution, Natalie saved them from being shot because she was saying, “no guns!”
