To schedule a Baptism, please contact the rectory for an

initial meeting and a parent preparation session.

Marriage

Please call the rectory at least six months in advance.

Couples meet with the priest for an initial pastoral

conversation before a wedding date can be set. Please do

not make other plans until a date has been confirmed with

your parish.

For the Sick

We are happy to visit with the homebound. If you or a

loved one would like a home visit, Holy Communion or

the Anointing of the Sick, please contact the rectory office.

If you are new to our parish or if you have been away from the practice of the faith, we extend a warm welcome and hope you feel at home here. Our parish is nourished by your presence today. We invite you to introduce yourself to the priest or deacon after Mass so that we can greet you. We hope you will make Annunciation Parish YOUR parish.

All children are welcome to be baptized in the Catholic Church. It does not matter if the parents are single or married outside the Catholic Church. ALL CHILDREN no matter what, are welcome to the baptism of the Lord, as long as they will be raised Catholic. Annunciation Parish usually offers baptisms on the first and third Sundays. To get started, please call the parish office - Saint Mary (860-666-1591) or Holy Spirit (860-666-5671). We can’t wait to welcome your child into the life of Christ and our Church through Baptism.

Daly Notes…

Christmas has a way of bringing individuals and families to Church, who for

various reasons, have not been to Mass for months, or even years. What a

wonderful and grace-filled opportunity to put aside past differences and old

habits, and begin anew that relationship with the Lord. I extend to all of you

an open, heartfelt welcome.

To you and your families, I extend greetings from the entire staff at

Annunciation Parish. Be assured of our prayers during this holy season, and

our wish is that your hearts may know the joy of the presence of Christ at

Christmas, and throughout the New Year.

OLC's Wellness Day will make a lovely

Christmas gift for a special woman in

your life. Our day will begin with a

review of common women's health

issues and considerations with

recommendations regarding support

with essential oils and supplements

by Alicia Clendennin. We will enjoy a

healthy and delicious lunch prepared

by Chef Bill. Mary Hagadorn, R.N. will

lead an optional Move and Stretch

Class early in the afternoon. You will

have the opportunity to schedule a

massage during this time. Our day will

conclude with a tea tasting presented

by Viviana Pinhasi, a certified tea

sommelier. At our tea tasting in you will

not only sample delicious tea but learn

the basics of tea; the health benefits of

tea, how to pair food with tea and even
