Annual Report on achievements in Sports and Games for the year 2015-16

The College organized Rev. Fr. Baliah memorial All India Inter-collegiate Basketball

(7th

edition) and volleyball (4th

edition) Tournament 2015. The College Basketball

team won the 4th

place.

Osmania University inter college tournament

The college basketball team for men created history by winning the university

championships for the 6 years Continues It was double hat trick,

The college basketball team for women won the ou inter-college championships for

the 3rd

year Continues It was hat trick.

The college volleyball team for men won the ou inter college championships

In ou inter college athletics, Mohana Ravali B.Sc Biotechnology, II year, won gold

medal in High jump and silver medal in Javelin, Mr. Sai Kumar B.Sc Agri IV won

silver medal in Hammer throw & Mr. Rajneesh of B.Sc Agri IV year won silver

medal in Discus throw

In ou inter college swimming championships, Mr P. Rishi Kumar B.Com Hons III

year won a gold medal & silver medal and Mr. Yogender Rao B.com Pro III year won

silver medal.

In ou inter college Boxing championships, Mr Narender BA Psychology I year won a

gold medal

In ou inter college Low tennis championships, Ms Sai Nikitha BBA I year won a gold

medal

In OU inter college Chess championships, Ms Ankitha Goud B.Com Computers I

year won a gold medal

The college teams for men and women participated in football men, Table Tennis men

& women, throw ball women, badminton men & women, handball men & women,

volleyball women, in OU inter college tournament and reached the quarter final in all

events.

Open and invitation tournaments

The college Volleyball team for men won the BOSM National-Level Inter collegiate

tournament organized by BITS pilani, Rajasthan

The college Basketball team for men won the CCOB inter college tournament for the

CCOB Rolling Trophy for the 4th

year Continues, winning the trophy.

The college Basketball team for Girls team won the 1st place in Independent day cup

organized by YMCA OF GREATER HYDERABAD at YMCA Narayanguda

The college Basketball team for women won the National-Level inter collegiate

tournament organized by St. Francis College for women

The college Cricket team participated in the Eenadu Trophy tournament and reached

Intramural Tournament

Intramural tournament was held from the month of June to January in Basketball,

Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Throw ball, Chess, Table Tennis, Badminton, and

Athletics. Around 1100 Students participated in the intramural competitions for the

year 2015-16
