RECENT FACILITY UPDATES -
2018 Expanded wi-fi connectivity to all gates and grandstand area to accommodate electronic ticketing Replaced a portion of blacktop in Activity Center parking lot and seal coated remaining area Four (4) New Aluminum Bleachers Demolished West Swine Barn
2019 Built a new West Swine Barn Added recycled blacktop to roadways and holes in grass areas
JEFFERSON COUNTY FAIR - Since 1853, our fair has been known around the country as one of the premier County
Fair’s in Wisconsin. Our County Fair is also one of the largest animal exhibitions in Wisconsin hosting over 1,000
animals in 5 days. Approximately 40,000 people attend the fair each year the second weekend in July.

For the past 10 years the Jefferson County Fair has coordinated advertising, sponsors, activities and vendors around a theme that highlights a segment of the agriculture industry and the Fair. 2019 was “Year of the Carnival” to bring awareness to the mobile amusement industry. In 2020, the theme will be “Year of the Goat” highlighting the goat industry, City of Jefferson’s Goat Island and anything GOAT (Greatest Of All Time).
OUR GOALS
Increase Community relationships to attract more sponsorship opportunities
Market the Fair and Fair Park outside of Jefferson County to increase visitors & tourism dollars being spent in Jefferson County
Develop additional revenue streams to support the Fair and Fair Park by expanding events, vendor opportunities, online ticket sales and camping reservations
Create a strategic plan and update the master plan, and feasibility study to help meet the needs and demands of our current & future clients
