Campaign to encourage FSMA Comments Rally for Right to Know in Washington, DC Advocate for GMO Labeling Legislation

Winter Meeting - RI Women in Agriculture Conference - Rhody Agriculture Day, RI State House - URI East Farm Spring Festival - NOFA Summer Conference, UMASS/Amherst - Washington County Fair - RINLA Green Marketplace Festival - Holiday Wellness Festival, Charlestown - Monthly enews & quarterly “The Natural Farmer” - Regular Facebook posts

Advocated regionally and nationally through the NOFA Interstate Council: - Opposed the DARK Act, federal legislation to

preempt states’ control of GMO labeling - Supported two Congressional bills to require

mandatory GMO food labeling - Support Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) - Supported petition on Endangered Species Act for

protection of monarch butterflies - Advocated for transparency in the Sunset

provision by the National Organic Standards Board - Opposed open-ocean fish farms or migratory fish

production being eligible for Organic Certification - Weighed in with National Resource Conservation

Service and Farm Service Agency on Wetlands protection and conservation compliance

- Opposed potential EPA approval of herbicide containing 2,4-D

- Opposed GMO being labeled as “Natural”
