Executive Summary
We are pleased to share the Annual performance Report of MSME-DI, Indore and its branches
for the year 2015-16. The process of liberalization, globalization and market reforms has created wide
ranging opportunities for the development of MSMEs. At the same time, changing world scenario has
thrown up new challenges to the existence of the MSME Sector.
This report highlights the work done by MSME-DI, Indore in strategic area of importance of MSME
sector in current economic scenario and worked in the following areas-

Product Certification
Business Incubator
Industrial Potential Survey
The performance and achievement of the institute is the result of the whole hearted efforts made by the
officers and staff members of this institute
Empowered Committee Meeting: MSME-DI Indore is the member of Empowered Committee of
RBI Bhopal. Director MSME-DI Indore attended all the meetings during the financial year.
MPMSE Facilitation Council: MSME-DI Indore is the member of Facilitation Council for Micro and
Small enterprises. During the year 97 cases are received, Total cases are 213, out of this 06 cases are
declined, 08 cases are awarded & 07 cases are settled, 192 cases are pending. Rs. 3,10,19,417/- amount
awarded & Rs.36,33,793/- settled.
I take this opportunity to convey my sincere thanks to all the officers & staff of MSME-DI Indore, Branch
MSME-DI Gwalior, & Rewa and MSME-TS Bhopal for their contribution to achieve the targets assigned
by the Head Quarter. Further, I appreciate the efforts of Shri V.M.Kshire, Asstt. Director (PI), Shri
B.Gahan, Asstt. Director (EI) and Shri K.R.Alawa, Asstt. Director (PI) in bringing out this performance
report of MSME-DI Indore for the year 2015-16.

National Vendor Development Programme (16th
IND-EXPO) organised by
MSME-DI Indore & Directorate of Industries, Bhopal, Govt. Of M.P. in
associations with KVIC Bhopal, NSIC, MPLUN Bhopal, Laghu Udyog Bharti MP,
AIMP, Pithampur Audyogik Sanghatan & Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Sangh
Bhopal from 6-8th February 2016 at the premises of MSME-DI Indore aims to
provide platform to Micro, Small & Medium enterprises to establish coordination
with various government and public sector undertaking like the Defence, Railway,
BHEL in terms of exchange technology & their requirements.
Shri V.L.Kanta Rao, Industries Commissioner, Govt. Of M.P. inaugurated the
function. In his speech he said that, MSME-DI Indore running central govt. &
State govt. Scheme as social sector. He also said that, he is going to spot inspection
of land for construction convention centre for MSEs. He announced that,
incubation centres were established at Indore for I.T. sector, in Dewas for Leather
sector & in Gwalior for Textile sector.
On the eve, Shri Pradeep Kumar, Director MSME-DI Indore elaborates the
importance of the function & enlighten on public procurement policy. Director
MSME-DI Indore said that, as per purchase policy 2012, it is mandatory for
government sector companies to procure at least 20% of their purchase from
MSEs.
Shri N. Sonwale, CMD, NEPA Ltd. has given the information of procurement of
the product from SMEs for their company. At present NEPA ltd. have the suppliers
from Andhra Pradesh, Gujrath, Tamilnadu for waste papers. He assured to help
MSEs supplier of Madhya Pradesh.
In this function, President of AIMP, Shri O.P.Dhoot, President of PIA, Shri
Gautam Kothari, President of Laghu Udyog Bharti, Shri Nemichand Jain, Vice
President of MPSSIO, Shri Kailash Agrawal also expressed their views. Seminars
on vendor Developments were conducted for three days.
In three days National Vendor Development, total 105 units were displayed their
products. Units from Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujrath, Uttar Pradesh, Rajashtan &
Hariyana also displayed their products. 894 vendors were identified, Generated 10
crores business enquiries and about 6,500 visitors visited the exhibition. In the
exhibition cultural programme was organised, family members of MSME-DI
Indore participated in the programme
