Middlesex 3 Community Compact Transportation Improvements
• Awarded $100,000 to improve public transportation connections along the Middlesex 3 Highway.
• Partnering with Northern Middlesex Council of Governments, the Metropolitan Area Planning Council and Central Transportation Planning Staff to examine and propose action steps to improve public transportation between the northern and southern Middlesex 3 corridor.
• Transportation Stakeholder Meeting to discuss existing transportation conditions, needs and challenges, and potential actions to improve public transportation along Middlesex 3
The Middlesex 3 Transportation Management Association (TMA) has been formed by the Middlesex 3 Coalition to address transportation issues in the region which
includes the communities of Bedford, Billerica, Burlington, Chelmsford, Lowell, Tewksbury, Tyngsborough, and Westford Massachusetts.
