• Full enumeration

• Sampling
While compiling AISS both full enumeration and sampling methods are used. For the enterprises having 20 or more employees, or, the enterprises with some special activities (in classes), full enumeration is used. For the rest of the enterprises (less than 20 employees), sampling method is used. Stratified simple random sampling method is used in the AISS study.

Data compilation process
“Annual Business Statistics Industry and Service A101 Questionnaire Form” is used for the collecting data. The field application is commonly done by interviewing. The application carried out between May and December by regional offices.
