*Song of Praise: “Christ Is Risen” Matt Maher

Let no one caught in sin remain inside the lie of inward shame But fix our eyes upon the cross and run to Him who showed great love And bled for us freely You've bled for us

Christ is risen from the dead, trampling over death by death Come awake come awake, come and rise up from the grave Christ is risen from the dead we are one with Him again Come awake come awake, come and rise up from the grave

Beneath the weight of all our sin You bowed to none but heaven's will No scheme of hell no scoffer's crown no burden great can hold You down In strength You reign forever let Your church proclaim

O death where is your sting O hell where is your victory O church come stand in the light the glory of God has defeated the night Singing O death where is your sting O hell where is your victory O church come stand in the light Our God is not dead He's alive He's alive

Easter Tulips

The following is a list of tulips placed in the sanctuary in memory or in

honor of loved ones.

THE TULIP in the Church is associated with the resurrection of the Christ because of its spring bloom, a sign of

new life. They are a very beautiful, elegant flower significate during Easter as a symbol of the love Jesus gave to

the world. Its cup-shaped blossoms symbolize rebirth and hope as they are among the first flowers to provide the

colors of a new spring. A favorite Easter flower used to convey celebration and gladness in the Resurrection of

our Savior, Jesus.

What’s YOUR next step?

GATHER

MANY THANKS to everyone who helped make our Easter breakfast such a joyful event. COMMUNION WILL BE SERVED at both services next Sunday, April 8. Join us as we continue our series on “Behold the Man”. Next week’s text is Mark 6:1-13.

GROWTH PATH - This is our last offering of the Growth Path before our Spring membership class. This is a three-week course designed to help all Graystoners find their next steps in “Following Jesus”. This course begins Sunday, April 8 at 9:45 a.m., and continues Sundays, April 15 and 22 in Room 101. The Growth Path is a requirement for any person wishing to become a new member. NEW MEMBERS’ CLASS if you have already attended the Growth Path and are interested in mem-bership, our Spring membership class will be held on Sunday, April 29, in Room 101 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. New member candidates will meet with our Elders to share about their heart for Christ and interest in membership on Monday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m. in the Library. New mem-bers will be received and introduced to the congregation on Sunday, May 13, at both services. CHALLENGE SUNDAY SCHOOL will be beginning a new series titled “Not All Roads Lead to Heav-en” by Dr. Robert Jeffress on Sunday, April 8, at 9:45 a.m. In the Gathering Place. Everyone is welcome to attend. FEELING STRESSED? We are hosting a two-session stress-management workshop from a Christian perspective. Each 90-minute session will cover a number of strategies for reducing and coping with stress, with an emphasis on relevant Christian teachings and practices. We have two offer-ings to choose from. Please sign up in the back of the sanctuary or in the Christian Education Lobby for a workshop based on your availability to attend BOTH sessions listed together on the same line:

Monday, April 16 AND Monday April 23 at 6:30-8:00 p.m - Graystone Library. or Wednesday, April 18 AND Wednesday, April 25 at 1:00-2:30 p.m. - Graystone Library. *This workshop is being conducted by a graduate student at IUP as part of a research study she is completing toward her doctoral degree in clinical psychology.

SERVE CHILDCARE FOR TODAY is available during the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services for infants through preschool aged children. We will close the nursery during the Sunday School hour (9:45 a.m.) to allow everyone to fellowship during Easter breakfast. PRAYER CARDS - Thank you to those of you who have shared prayer requests, either by placing the request card in the offering tray or in the prayer boxes. We welcome all prayer requests. When you ask to have a name placed on the bulletin prayer list, we would like the telephone number of that person (perhaps yourself) to verify that is their desire. Thank you for allowing us to enter into God's presence with your prayer requests.

Prayer List as of Thursday, March 29 Please remember to mention during the hospital admission process that you are a member of Graystone. Also, if you know of a member who has been hospitalized please notify the church office.

Mission Focus:

EPC (Evangelical Presbyterian Church) World Outreach is committed to going to hard places to tell the story of Jesus in culturally relevant ways. They do this by planting new churches through “Engage 2025,” training nationals through the “International Theological Net-

work” (ITEN) and through cooperative partnerships with compatible sending agencies. Pray for effective, fruitful ministry through these endeavors as they seek to start disciple making move-

ments among the least reached people groups.

Ministry Focus Pray that men and women, young and old would find their next step of faith, spiritual growth

and service through Graystone’s three week Growth Path course.
