Pre-Implementation Issues

• A handful against the scheme seemingly on principle alone.

• Those either for or against the scheme on the grounds that the want to be included.

• A handful of supportive comments along the lines of ‘finally, we've been quietly waiting/hoping for this for year’.

• Why introduce a scheme in a pandemic?

• Visitor Permit questions.

• Why scheme brought in when they’ve previously voted against it twice.

• Many of them focus on there being only 14 requests for a residents' parking scheme

• How will you evaluate success? Criteria for decision-making.

• Displacement parking problem.

• At least one query about need for match day parking.

• Of those outside the scheme who want to be included, many are from Clarendon Park Road (south side)
