Outlook for 2010

In January 2009, HLA increased its stake from 32% to 72% via General Offer.

TCB has proposed to pay in total ordinary dividend of RM 30 cents and capital reduction dividend of RM 33 cents. HLA will receive in total RM 74 million.

Cash of RM 389 million as at 31 March 2010.

The cement industry for Peninsular & East Malaysia is forecasted to grow at 3 – 5% and 3% respectively for 2010 with the anticipation that mega projects announced under the country’s economy stimulus packages in 2008/09 such as LCCT, second Penang Bridge, Pahang – Selangor Interstate raw water transfer etc will kick start towards the 2H 2010..

Outlook for 2010

� 3 plants in China (2 under JVs), one each in Malaysia and Indonesia

� Manufacture plastic pails and bottles and jerry cans for MNCs such as Shell, Coke, Pepsi, Exon-Mobil, etc

� In 2008, secured a 5-year RMB 1.2 billion contract from Shell China.

� We are in the midst of setting up Henan Rex to takeover the Xinfei Plastics parts operation

.

� With this venture will provide us a foothold in the Central Western plastics and packaging business opportunity.
