If the world now is still the world that you used

to see?

EARTH

is indeed gasping for breath right now

EARTH

POLLUTIONS

are choking her slowly

andcontinuously stripping her

OZONE LAYER

on the only planet we live in.

I think it is about time to give our due response to

this alarming concern

Simple things can make a

BIGdifference

like joining ENVIRONMENTAL

EVENTS

we can take part to stir a

BIG CHANGE.

There are lots of environmental events

world-wide.

Here are the 5 environmental events that we @ Windturbines.net support

Let’s take a closer look @ these events…

Earth Day

United States Senator Gaylord

Nelson as the founder of the

event.

than 175 countries every

22nd day of April.

appreciation for the Earth's

natural environment.

W. E. D.orld nvironment ay

Celebrated every 5th of June since

1972

It aspires to be the vehicle to stimulate

worldwide awareness on the

environment

And enhances political attention & public action.

widely celebrated, global day for

positive, environmental

action.

Clean up the World

environment.

governments and individuals

In a range of activities and programs that positively improve local environments.

environmental campaigns in the world.

Global Wind Day

Association (EWEA) and the Global Wind Energy Council

(GWEC), the GLOBAL WIND DAY was formed on June 15, 2009.

It is an awareness campaign for the promotion of

wind energy worldwide.

It’s aim is to send out this message …

“ wind energy tackles climate change, it boosts

energy independence and it is an intelligent

investment. "

Earth Hour

Earth Hour

started in 2007 in

Sydney, Australia

when 2.2 million

individuals and

more than 2,000

businesses turned

their lights off for

ONE HOUR

to take a stand

against

CLIMATE CHANGE.

Earth Hour

2010

became the

biggest Earth

Hour ever.

A record

128 countries

and territories

joined the

global display

action.

Come to think of it…

ONE PERSON

Has the power to CHANGE

his community

But if we all join hands together…

we can all change the

WORLD
