dynamic site withregularlyupdatedinformation, asource you cantrust for the latestword. If youhavesuggestions about what you would like to see on thepage, let the office know. Right now the site is prettytext heavy and we would like to make it more imagerich, but we need good pictures of the ministry ofJoy to do that. So keep your phones and camerashandy and look in your archives and send picturesour way. If you haven't been to our facebook pagelately or ever, please visit and "like" us. If you aretraveling on the weekend, you can now catch up byviewing our YouTube channel. We also would like to get an updated photo directory, but instead of hiring an outside company to do that wewould like to self-publish a piece. But in order for us todo that we need everyone to submit updated photos. So if you took a family photo for your Christmas cardthis year, please send a copy to the office so we cancompile them.

For many of us in the congregation, electroniccommunication is becoming more common than printand mail. So we will be experimenting this next monthwith an electronic newsletter (a beefed up "Sharing OurJoy") so you always will have current information. Forthose of you who don't have or use computers orphones to get your information, we will still have aprinted version available to pick up at church or it canbe mailed to you by request.

All Women are Invited to the January Bible StudyChristian Citizenship 101 - Paul's Letter to the PhilippiansIn January, we will begin a four part study on the Bookof Philippians. In this study we'll discover more aboutthe church in Philippi and its founding, the challenges itfaced and the context of some of its most belovedpassages. We'll also explore ways in which Philippiansrelates to our lives today and invites us to engage infuller service to the world around us. The title of thisstudy, Christian Citizenship, comes from two verses inPhilippians - Philippians 1:27 and Philippians 3:20. Amajor emphasis of this letter is what it means toconduct our lives as citizens of the commonwealth ofJesus Christ, where the gospel reigns. Theme versesfor January's study are Philippians 1:1-26. The studycan be found in the Gather magazine. This four-part study is written by Phyllis Kersten, anassociate pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in RiverForest, Illinois from 1996-2008. Since that time, she hasserved several interim ministry appointments and hasco-authored two Bible studies for women. Each month, all women are welcome to join us for Biblestudy on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, in the FiresideRoom at the church, at either of the following times: Tuesday, January 12 1:30 pm Wilma Timm, Leader Tuesday, January 12 7:00 pm Marcia Lindseth, Leader
