1.Ms. Parvathy P.R, Assistant professor -Computer Science and Engineering had attended Faculty readiness

workshop on InfyTQ based foundation program from 24th June 2019 to 29th June 2019 at Vidya Academy of

Science and Technology –Thrissur

JULY 2019

1. Ms. Beena V R, Ms. Divya M K, Ms. Rini Vijayan, and Mr. Muhammed Raseem S attended three day Faculty

Development Programme from 23rd to 25th July 2019 .

2.S5 CSE students Adarsh A J , Anusree S S ,Drisya G S ,Pradipta Mukherjee ,Shahna S and Krishnapriya

Jhave participated in „Oracle Groundbreakers Yatra 2019’ , an interactive session organised by All India Oracle

User Group conducted on 27th

July at Technopark, Trivandrum .

AUGUST 2019

1.On 8th

August 2019, Akhil A and Sha Muhammed Shaji of S3CSE attended a workshop on B-Hub at Mar

Ivanios College,Nalanchira,Thiruvananthapuram .

2.The following students of S5 CSE attended certificates of participation in Tecon, a Technical Conference

conducted by TECHMASTERS on 15th August 2019.The topics were Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and

block chain, Artificial Intelligence, IOT, voice controlled selenium, and Digital marketing.

SEPTEMBER 2019

1. Nanditha Jyothi and Abhayanath K of CS S3 are selected as student ambassador of " National Student's

Space Challenge 2019", a venture initiated by Kalpana Chawla Space Technology cell of IIT Kharagpur.

2. Pradipta Mukherjee from S5CSE got selected for inter zone(state level) badminton championship.

3. Students of S5 CSE Pradipta Mukherjee, Shilpa Sunil & Anusree S S participated for Speak for

Kerala Competition jointly Organized by Federal Bank & Mathurbhumi..

OCTOBER 2019

1.A Space quiz related to student‟s space challenge was conducted on 3/10/2019 by student ambassodors of NSSC19

Nanditha Jyothi and Abhayanath of S3 CSE.

2. Students of S3 CSE attended an Industrial visit to the company OPZET.pvt Ltd in Ernakulam on 7/10/19

3.A placement oriented motivational talk was also conducted on 11th October for all CSE students, in association

with the VASTECON event. The speakers were Jeexson Jose( Systems Engineer, Infosys) and Sruthy Chandran (

Product Implementation Engineer, Good Methods Global). They were also in the judging panel of final round.

4.Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted a coding competition VASTECON , to find the best

programmer in our campus.The competition was conducted in three rounds. The team of Pradipta Mukherjee and

Krishnapriya from S5 CSE ,won the title of VASTECON and selected as the best programmers of VAST TC.Arun

S and Praveen P of S3 CSE ,and Navaneeth P S and Sha Mohammed Shaji from S3 CSE won the second and third

place respectively .

5. Pradipta Mukherjee was chosen as campus ambassador for spring fest, IIT Kharagpur.

6. Shilpa Sunil won second prize in power quiz.

7. Four students from S1 CSE Arun Nambi,Bibin,Devanand,Ullas attended IOT hackethon programme organized

by wikitechy,Chennai and were selected as winners of this programme.

8.Abhayanath of S3CSE is selected for KTU interzone (state) volleyball championship which was held at MA college

Kothamangalam.

NOVEMBER 2019

1. 21 Students from S1 and S3 CSE have attended a one day workshop on “Artificial Intelligence with Face

Detection conducted by IEEE SB and IEDC cell on November 3rd

2019 at College of Engineering , Attingal.

2. Pradipta Mukherjee,Krishnapriya J,Anusree ,Drisya students from S5 CSE have participated in Hack Kochi

#2 conducted by ORE Women in association with IEEE HUB & IEEE WIE AGs .

3. Two of our students from S5 CSE ,Silpa Sunil and Pradipta Mukherjee were selected to Speak for India -

Kerala Edition in block level.

DECEMBER 2019

1. Department of Computer Science & Engineering had organized two-days technical session at VAST TC

kilimanoor for Second year polytechnic students of Govt Polytechnic,Attingal on 18th December 2019 & 19th

December 2019 The Session were handled by Ms.Rini Vijayan (Asst Prof.CSE) & Ms. Divya M.K( Asst Prof. CSE)

JANUARY 2020

1. Department of Computer Science & Engineering has conducted technical Sessions in Govt Polytechnic

Nedumangad (CSE) (CHE) , Central Polytechnic Vattiyoorkavu, Govt Polytechnic Attingal on 7th

January

2020, 14th

January 2020, 17th

January 2020 & 24th

January 2020 respectively. The sessions were handled

by Ms. Beena V.R ,Ms. Divya M.K , Ms.Athulya Kamalasanan , Ms. Anusree K S and Mr. Suraj S.R

2. Nanditha Jyothi ( S4 CSE) has selected as the campus Ambassador for KTU Techfest 2020.

FEBRUARY 2020

1.Students of S4 CSE ( Abhayanath K, Ajas Muhammed, Nanditha Jyothi, Nimisha, Nayanthara,

Renesh M Lal) got selected to the Final round of Kerala Hackathon organised by ASAP - Kerala. The

faculty mentor for the team was Ms. Divya M. K

2. Students of S4 CSE Arya A R, Anitha Jose and Selsha participated in techfest organised by Vidya

Academy of Science & Technology, Thrissur.

3.Students of S2 CSE - Sreelekshmi B. S, Ansiya , Rajalekshmi, Farzana, Salu J Suman, Krishna B.

Nair and Jyothirmayi S L had participated in workshops organised by Govt Engineering College - Barton

Hill Trivandrum on 22nd Feb 2020 and 23rd Feb 2020.

MARCH 2020

1. Techfest :CSE logo launch was inaugurated by Respected Principal and HOD .Our students exhibited 8 projects

based on new technology and coordinated 14 events including coding competition and hardware assembling

competition etc.

2.From s6, Adarsh won 1st place in 5000m race and 3

rd place in 1500m.Pradipta Mukherjee won 1

st place in chess ,

100m relay and badminton also 2nd

place in 100ms race. Silpa Sunil won 1st place in badminton.

3.From s2, Rajalekshmi J was selected as the runner up and Akshya Prathap had won 1st position in 100m and

200m race. In Relay of 1st years , Rajalekshmi and Akshya participated and won 2nd position

APRIL 2020

1 Ms. Pradipta Mukherjee ( S6 CSE 2017-2021) has cleared the 1st round of HackWithInfy. HackWithInfy is

India-wide coding competition for final year engineering students. HackWithInfy comprises of three rounds

with Round 1 & Round 2 as online tests and a Grand Finale with a 24-hour Hackathon at Infosys Pune.

MAY 2020
