The groom, son of Deanand Colleen Budrow of Glen-dale, Ariz., graduated fromMou nta i n R idge H igh i nGlendale in 2005 and attend-ed Oregon State Universityand the University of Utah.

T he outdoor ceremony,held in the Rose Garden ofthe Sa hua ro R a nch , wasenhanced by the sounds ofthe “Sweet Water Str ings”performing several of the cou-ple’s favorite musical selec-tions before and during theceremony.

After a honeymoon trip toPlaya Del Carmen, the newly-weds are making their homein Phoenix, Ariz., where thegroom is employed as a minorleague pitcher in the ArizonaDiamondbacks organizationand the bride is a programinterpreter for the ArizonaScience Center.

LAKEVIEW — Leoand Anna Mae Albertsonwill celebrate their 65thwedding anniversarywith family members andfriends at a dinner host-ed by their children from1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb.19, in St. Patrick’s Catho-lic Church in Lakeview. The Albertson fam-ily homesteaded in LakeCounty in 1913 and Leowas born on the westside. He farmed with hisfather Henry before serv-ing in the Navy duringWorld War II and washonorably discharged

in 1945. Anna Mae wasraised in Oklahoma andworked on aircraft dur-ing the war. They were married inKlamath Falls on Feb.17, 1946, after a three-month engagement. In 1949, Leo drewa 97-acre homestead inJerome, Idaho, and, aftermaking the ground pro-ductive and requiredimprovements, they veryhappily moved back toLake County in April1953. In 1956, they started

Albertson Tractor andsold it in 1975. Their children areHank and Barb Albert-son, Theresa and BillMolthan, Paul Albert-son, Bill and Carla Alb-ertson, John and SusanAlbertson, Marissa andBryan Reed and GregAlbertson, all of Lakev-iew, Mark and ToniaAlbertson of Eagle Point,and Madonna and ColinGrass of Selah, Wash. They have 27 grand-children and 38 great-grandchildren.
