Reverend Samuel Chung Presider All Together

Minister:

Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. Praise be to his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen.

All Together Reverend John Bae

Minister: us says the Lord: "Your hurt is incurable, and your wound is grievous. ere is none to uphold your cause, no medicine for your wound, no healing for you."

People:

All our lovers have forgotten us; they care nothing for us; for You have dealt us the blow of an enemy, the punish-ment of a merciless foe, because our guilt is great, because our sins are flagrant.

All Together

Minister: For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “e righteous will live by faith.”

All Together

Question 100:

Minister: What does the preface of the Lord's Prayer teach us?

People: e preface of the Lord's Prayer, which is Our Father in heaven, teaches us firstly to draw near to God with all holy reverence and confidence as children to a father able and ready to help us; and secondly, that we should pray with and for others.

Today’s ScriptureMatthew 25:31-46 (ESV)

³¹ “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. ³² Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. ³³ And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. ³4 en the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the founda-tion of the world. ³5 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, ³6 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ ³7 en the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? ³8 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? ³9 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
