Spring is definitely in the air at Annie L. Gaetz! It is so nice to have the sunny and warm weather for playing outside. We have had a busy time during the past month; Music Festival, Choir Kids, Autism Awareness Day, Hats On for Mental Health, and our Fort McMurray fundraising activities. In addition, our students participated in Go Girl, Knights in Training, Grade 5 orientation, and the Bike Roadeo! Wow, many awesome things are happening at Annie L. Gaetz! As the days grow longer, the importance of a good sleep for the students cannot be over emphasized. Field trips, tests, and after-school activities can take a toll on students’ sleep patterns. A good night sleep can really help students to be their best at school! A special thank you to our fantastic Parent Council! Thank you very much for organizing an excellent staff appreciation lunch-eon! Parent Council, we thank you for going the extra mile and celebrating our talented staff members. We would also like to thank Mr. Robertson for his leadership during this school year. As you know, he will be leaving Annie L. Gaetz and will be the principal of Eastview Middle School. Thank you for the work that you have done to make Annie L. Gaetz such a great place! Mr. Robertson, we will miss you and we wish you the best of luck at Eastview School!
