Dated: 01-12-2012 for “Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Micro-Processor
based Oxygen Concentrator Plant of 1040 LPM (Minimum) capacity at 95 % purity with
allied equipments at Govt. SMHS Hospital Srinagar ”.
SCOPE OF WORK & DETAILED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The scope of work viz installation of oxygen concentrator plant at Government
SMHS Hospital Srinagar includes supply, installation, testing &
commissioning of (but not limited to) the following (Bidders are free to offer
any additional equipment/accessories deemed fit by them for efficient
performance of the plant):
Microprocessor based oxygen generator/concentrator plant along with compressed air
system, compressed air tank, refrigerant air dryer, filtration system PSA module, oxygen receiver
tank, oxygen booster, control panel with servo stabliser as per following technical
specifications:-

B Air Compressor 01. Air compressor Non lubricant reciprocating air compressor complete with
standard accessories having its own standard complete air
cooling system. Compressor should be medical grade air
compressor, microprocessor based with digital display and
compatible to oxygen generator/concentrator.100%
continuous duty and starting pressure as atmospheric
pressure at Srinagar.
02. Compressed air Tank 3500 liter capacity (pressure tested two times normal
working pressure)alongwith auto drain
valve,interconnecting piping,NRV,control switch, flow
meter etc. as shall be required.
03. Compressed air filtration System Standard filtration system for medical grade air. Feed air
quality of the oxygen concentrator should be conforming to
ISO8573 class 4 and is of filtration grade of 0.01 Micron.
C Air Dryer 01. Refrigerant type air dryer Standard refrigerant Air Dryer with the specification
annexed as annexure “A”
02. Oxygen storage tank 2000 liters capacity (pressure tested two times normal

03 Inlet pressure Equal to outlet pressure from air compressor which is
compatible to oxygen generator/concentrator to produce
1040 (Minimum) LPM oxygen at min.4.1 bars with purity
of 95% or above.
04 Inlet air temperature Less than or equal to 40ºc
05 Inlet air capacity Compatible to air delivery capacity of air compressor as
given at S.NO.(6) as mentioned above under heading

D Oxygen Concentrator 01. Oxygen Analyzer, panel In built with paramagnetic sensor, electronic card for
processing signal along with digital display indicating purity
level. Connected to a solenoid valve to shut off the oxygen
production if the concentration drops under the required
level. Main Oxygen Concentration Plant with purity
analyzer, Touch Screen panel, alarm facility and oxygen
booster should be CE approved
02. Touch screen panel Color touch screen panel with protection against dust and
water of min. size 6’’.
03. Alarm facility Process cycle failure, low oxygen supply pressure, and any
other mal functioning.
04. Starting Easy start.
05. Base frame and fitting fixtures As required at site including all civil works for the
foundation of all the machines.

F Electrical Panel with Servo Stabilizer
01. Electrical panel with servo Stabilizer Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Control panel
and 400 KVA Servo Stabilizer compatible with plant as per
recommendations of OEM. The servo stabilizer should be of min.
capacity 400 KVA with voltage output range of 440 V + 5%.
Input supply (phase to neutral) from 90 volts to 240 volts and
constant supply for 220 Volts (Phase to neutral)

Note: Regarding to base frame and fitting fixtures, anything required for successfully
installing, testing and commissioning of oxygen concentrators plants shall have to be supplied by
the contractor/firm of its own.
Electric panel should be compatible to the electric load of whole plant including air compressor,
refrigerant air dryer, PSA module, oxygen booster etc. for its safe and successful operation. The
electric panel should be supplied with servo stabilizer compatible to the electric load of above
mentioned machinery.
Main Oxygen Concentration Plant with purity analyzer, Touch Screen panel, alarm facility
and oxygen booster should be CE approved. Also indigenous components should be BIS
and CE approved
The bidders shall furnish technical specifications of each equipment
along with their capacities & makes offered duly supported with
technical literature/Brochure of the manufacturer and relevant drawings.
