Introduction• Animation is the art of using multiple

frames of art to create the illusion that the picture is moving.

• There are many types of animation, including traditional, computer and stop motion.

Traditional AnimationEach frame is drawn by hand.

The frames are shot by a camera.

Computer AnimationEach frame is produced through an

animation program.

Can be 2-Dimensional or 3-Dimensional

Stop Motion AnimationReal world inanimate objects (like clay

figurines) are photographed, moved slightly, and photographed again… (Claymation)

ConclusionAnimation is a very interesting field which interests

me much. As time progresses, animation is developing new techniques that enable quicker, easier, and more accessible production.
