Introduction to Presentation:Welcome to the our contents which will be presented later

The background of a story is what happened before the start of the story. This is often referenced from the story itself.

A story summary is a brief review of a story's most important ideas. A Story Summary Should Include: Setting, Main Characters.

Characters Analysis evaluates a character's traits, their role in the story, and the conflicts they experience. When analyzing, you will want to think critically, ask questions, and draw conclusions about the character by lookingat those three areas.

Making a statement is like a theme. The theme in a storyis its underlying message, or 'big idea.' In other words, what critical belief about life is the author trying to convey in the writing of a novel, play, short story or poem? This belief, or idea, transcends cultural barriers. It is usually universal in nature.

Making Statement

Moral ValueMoral values are the standards of good and evil, which govern an individual's behavior and choices. Individual's morals may derive from society and government, religion, or self. When moral values derive from society and government they, of necessity, may change as the laws and morals of the society change.

Why Animal Farm?BackgroundGeorge Orwell was born in Bengal, India. His real name is Eric Blair.in 1921, he joined the Civil Service and went to Burma as a sergeant in the Indian Imperial Police. After quitting the Civil Service, Orwell choseto live among the working-class people of Paris and the homeless inEngland. He was a police officer, soldier, socialist, publisher, teacher, worker, writer, and a father. He tried to be in jail and poverty for his book. This experience lasted for more than a year. At this time, he worked as ateacher, and after he married, he and his wife ran a village pub and the general store. In 1936, he became a socialist, and his publisher encouraged him to write about oppressed people..

He went to Spain to write about their Civil War, and even to fight in it. He waswounded in his neck in battle by a sniper’s bullet which caused his voice tobecome permanently altered. The war experience had given him a horrifying glimpse of political reality. He saw how revolutionary causes could become corruptand evolve into totalitarianism (a kind of dictatorship where one political party hastotal control and all opposition is ruthlessly suppressed), which he saw as the future’sthreat to human freedom. Later in Russia, Orwell saw a powerful dictator-JosephStalin-come up through the revolutionary ranks and eventually oppress the people asbadly as the Czar had done before him.Summary
