Summary: The purpose of this power point is to have the students understand the different habitats around the world and what kind of animals live in each.
Learning Objective: Given the website with the four different videos about different habitats the students will need to be able to understand the different habitats animals live in and be able to answer the questions within the power point about the habitats.
Content Standard: K. 5.2 Recognizes that living things live in different environments
Accomplishment: The student will be able to understand the importance of different habitats.

Oceans cover most of the Earth.
Home to animals such as crabs, sharks, fish, octopi, and whales.
Jungles are tropical forest.
Jungles are very hot, and thick with trees.
Jungles often have rivers and lakes.
Home to animals such as monkeys, lions, crocodiles, gorillas, and snakes.

Forests are full of plants, grass, and different types of trees.
Forest often have streams and rivers running through them.

Farms are made of lots of different kinds of animals.

Farmers raise and take care of all the animals on their farm.

Summary In this lesson, the students will have familiarized
themselves with four different habitats. They will be able to explain and give characteristics of each habitat, as well as name a few animals that belong with each.
During this lesson, the students will become more knowledgeable about the different environments in which living beings lives and be able to understand that each living thing requires different habitats in order to survive.
The students will have watched four different videos about different habitats, then did a little review on each in hopes that when the teacher asks them questions about each they will be able to answer them correctly.
