• Deserts are hot and dry!• Desert Animals have light colored skin that

keeps them cool by reflecting sunlight.• Some animals that live in the desert are:

snakes, desert foxes, jackrabbits and scorpions.

• The squirrel makes it’s own shade by using it’s bushy tail.
