You have the option of working alone, or in a group of two or three. The level should be illustrated colorfully and clearly to show the birds, pigs, blocks, and obstacles. Flight paths will be drawn from the sling shot to the structure and then you will explain how the structure will fall. Each of the paths must model a PARABOLA. The equation for the parabola must be written in both factored and expanded (standard) form. You will be graded based on the following criteria: Groups One person = 2 flight paths Two people = 3 flight paths Three people = 2 levels, 2 flight paths per level Turning In Illustrated (in color) drawing of the level Parabolas clearly shown, with both xOintercepts, yOintercept, and maximum point labeled. Neatly written work to show how you wrote the equation Equation written in both factored and standard form Explanation of how the structure will fall apart when the bird hits This project will be worth 40 points toward your Unit 2 Project grade. You will have Friday, Monday and Tuesday in class to work on this project. Due Wednesday, November 18.
