How to pitch to Angels
Angels are real people, they want to understand the businesses they invest in:
• Solve a real issue and explain how you solve it and why customers will buy it
• Don’t give cold facts and numbers, tell a story
• Focus on benefits your business offers to customers instead of sales forecasts not supported by actual sales history
• Have a clear plan but embrace new revenue opportuni@es and be flexible to change your business plan
• Discuss ownership stakes on follow up meeDngs and be open to their proposals, if they bring you more than just money

• Meet early stage, ask for advise, not financing
• Get introduced: Go to conferences and events (demo days)
• Meet with angel groups and networks
