Installation Process

To install Mobile Client on your Android mobile phone, download theMobileClient.apk file from RouteSms Solutions Limited web site.

(www.routesms.com).

After successful installation, an icon of MobileClient application appearson the screen.

Getting Started:Login Form:-

Only registered users can login into the RouteSms Mobile ClientSoftware.

Username and Password are provided by RouteSms Solutions Limited.

Remember Password (Checkbox):

If user clicks this checkbox then user credentials get stored and nexttime when user will open the application he will be directly redirected

to Option form (No need to login again and again).

User Login:

On this screen user can enter his

usernameand passwordand click

"Login" button. On clicking "Login"

button, application authenticatesuser. If authentication fails, a dialog

popup generates, for Invalid User.

After successful login, RSL Messaging Service form is displayed.Here you get different functionality provided by us to send messages, which

can be selected from menu bar.

Menu:

SMS: Send "Single SMS","Bulk SMS" or "Group SMS".

Groups: "Create" and"Delete" groups, as well as

"Add", "Edit" and "Delete"

contacts from selected group.

Balance: User can check hisremaining balance, at any

time.

Logout: Asks user if hewants to remove credentials

or not?

Remove User Credentials:

When user clicks this option,he gets following Dialog boxasking for confirmation.

When user clicks Yes, his usercredentials get removed andhe is redirected to Login

Screen. If user clicks No, his user

credentials get restored.

Manage Groups:

Send SMS:

Single Message: User can sendmessage to single destination.

Bulk Message: User can uploadfile or send bulk messages to hisphonebook contacts.

Group Message: User can sendgroup message to eitherphonebook groups or groupscreated in application.

Manage Groups:

PhoneBook Groups: User canimport phonebook groups andsend messages to groupcontacts.

Application Groups: User cancreate groups, contacts and sendmessages to those contacts.

Groups: User can createnew group in application.

Contacts: User can add,update or delete contactsmanaged in groups.

Single Message:

Single Message is used to send message to Single destination.

Message Type: - It can be Text, Flash or Unicode Message. Number:Its the Destination mobile number Sender: Senders mobile number appears in this field if mobile

number is set in users mobile else user can enter his number/name in

the editable text field.

Message:User can add his message to be sent to end user. Simpletext message contains maximum 160 characters.

Message Type: - Mobile Client

Supports three types of

messages:

o Text Messageo Flash Messageo Unicode Messageo Unicode Flash Message

After successful submit, service option form is displayed.

User has to select any one of it. After selecting service, user getsresponse in Popup Screen like this.

Message Send Option:-

Mobile Client Supports two types of

messaging services:

o RSL Service:Message will besent via RouteSms service.

o SIM Service:Message will besent via SIM Card and SIM Card

charges will be applied.

Exit:If user wants to exit theapplication directly after sending

message then, he can click Exit

button.

Bulk Message:

When user opts for this option, you can send message to bulk numbers. For

this you select a file in which all numbers are listed or import PhoneBook

mobile numbers.

Browse File:

When user clicks Browse button,

application allows to access SDCard

files. File contains destinations to

which message is sent.

Select File:

Users can upload only .txt filealready created within his mobile

phone.

A single Text file consists ofmaximum of 5,000mobile numbers.

Mobile numbers are written/added inthe text file one by one i.e. secondnumber should be on the second line.

After selecting valid .txt file,filename appears in Destination field.

After selecting file, applications checks for valid and invaliddestinations. Messages will be sent to only valid destinations where as

invalid destinations will be discarded. If file exceeds 5000 destinations, then application displays alert

message saying File exceeds 5000 destinations.

PhoneBook:

PhoneBook Contacts:

PhoneBook Contacts get listedon this screen.

User can select multiplecontacts at a time.

User can send messages to allcontact numbers selecting

Select All option. If one contact name contains

more than one number, then

that contact name gets

displayed one after another

Group Message:-Group message provides facility to send message to a specific set of

contacts managed in the form of groups.Group names are listed in Group Name combo box.

View Contacts:

When user selects any

group, contacts against

that group areautomatically listed on

another page.

When user clicks Send

Message button, user is

again redirected to Send

Group Messagescreen

where selected groupname appears in Group

Name combo box.

Send Group Message:

Group Name:Particular group name towhich you want to send message.

Message Type: Mobile Client Supportthree types of messages:

a.Text Messageb.Flash Messagec.Unicode Message

Sender: Senders mobile numbeappears in this field if mobile

number is set in users mobile else use

can enter his number/name in the

editable text field.

Message:User can add his message tobe sent to end user.

PhoneBook Groups:This allows user toselect phonebook groups and contacts to

send message.

Groups: Here user can manage groups i.e. he can add, remove groups as

well as can add, update and remove contacts from the list.

PhoneBook Groups:This allows user to select phonebook groups and contacts to sendmessage. When user opts this option, he gets all phonebook groups and contacts

associated with groups selecting which he can send group message.

Add Group:User can add new group to application.

Remove Group: User can remove group from application.

Name:Valid group name.

After clicking Create

button group gets stored

in application.

View Contacts & Send: Selected group contacts get displayed on this

screen.

In above screen, you can add, remove or update previously savedcontact.

When you click Send button, group message is sent to selectedcontacts.

User can send message to all numbers from list clicking Select Allbutton.

If contact does not exist for selected group, then it displays .

In this case you have to add at least one contact to proceed further.

Add Contact: User can add new contact to application selecting Add button.

Remove Contact:You can remove selected contact from the list.

Update Contact:

User can update existing contact using following form.

Existing contact name and number appears in field where you can update contact.

After clicking Savebutton, your contact gets updated.

Name: Name of your

contact

Number: Valid contact

number.

After clicking Create,

new contact gets listed in

View Contactspage.

Balance Details: Users current balance gets displayed when he selects Balance

option from menu bar.

Software Update:If any updates found in application (RouteSms MobileClient),

application automatically asks for software update and if you click Yes, then

software gets updated with new functionalities replacing previous applicationinstalled in your phone.

If you click No, then you can use same application i.e. software doesnot get updated.

When you click on .apk file, it asks for replacement of previousapplication before installation.

Important Notes:

For successful delivery of message, please follow below mentioned points:

1. Destination:i. Destination must be valid.ii. Destination must contain country code. example 919856854717.iii. destination may contain (+) sign. example

+919856854717.(optional)

2. Text File:i. Text file must contain each destination number in new line.ii. File will never contain characters/spaces/etc within destination.iii. file never contains blank line between two destinations.

3. Phone Book contacts: Contact number always contains countrycode.

4. User cannot insert more than five thousand(5000) destinations in thetext file.
