PRESENTATION OF THE TOOL

I chose the tool web Slideshare because I really draws attention to the features offered to those who wish to share information over the network, really've never used this tool but I would like to learn about it and start using it in the teaching profession of English class.

SlideShare is a Web 2.0 based slide hosting service. Users can upload files privately or publicly in the following file formats: PowerPoint, PDF, Keynote or Open Document presentations. Slide decks can then be viewed on the site itself, on hand held devices or embedded on other sites. Launched on October 4, 2006, the website is considered to be similar to YouTube, but for slideshows. The website was originally meant to be used for businesses to share slides among employees more easily, but it has since expanded to also become a host of a large number of slides that are uploaded merely to entertain.

HOW TO USE SLIDE SHARE

Ways to use Slide share in teaching and learning process.

Slideshare is a program that we can use to share valuable information with our students for the teaching and learning process in English; we can use it interactively during classes, to reinforce a theme studying at home, to publicize future activities for students to share meaningful work using correct language and many other applications that help boost classes.

Importance of Slide share Slideshare allows the user / a on-line access more content rich and attractive, with perfect support in our work.Using it to present curriculum, course content, school trips and any other project or job that requires explanation allowing comments to other colleagues / as quickly and easily giving the opportunity to share in public or private material stored on SlideShare.
