a rich and distinctive history. Many students take for granted the fact that the United States reaches from coast to coast and has 50 states. They tend to assume that the land has always been ours since that is what modern maps show. Through the use of technology, students can better understand the flow and impact of United States history on the land as well as track our westward expansion.
