After, 15 years service at Nightingale House Hospice, my post has been made redundant due to a restructuring within the organisation. It has always been a privilege and an honour to work within the palliative care sector in providing a service to patients and their families with life limiting illnesses.

In my role at Nightingale House Hospice, I WASresponsible for liaising with solicitors on a day to day basis regarding legal issues concerning the hospice, and legacies. It was a varied role not only encompassing administration and finance assistant duties, but being responsible for the franking, stationery, general repairs (inc requesting quotations and appointing contractors) , travel and company vehicles, insurances, and any other tasks which come up during the day. I am flexible and able to adapt to any situation and enjoy a challenge.

My work with the Board required me to proof read the reports prior to them being sent out, looking for any errors and referring them back to the relevant person. I have a keen eye for detail and pride myself on my organisation skills and accuracy

I have excellent written and verbal communication skills, am fully computer literate with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Email and my secretarial skills include, 70+wpm typing. I am an excellent team player with a good sense of humour, and have a real passion for my work.

Assisted with local football team to help raise money to run the club each season Raised money for a sponored charity walk for the Cardiac unit at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. Organised charity netball match to raise money for local charities in the Wrexham Area. Assist with fundraising for Nightingale House Hospice for events organised. Accept cheque donations given to Nightingale House and Charity Events. Help set up a new charity for Farndon Social Club in the name of Farndon Community Trust.
