FEBRUARY ALREADY!! Holy cow! We are getting to the time where we all need to take a real close look at the upcoming Rallies!! Make sure you double-check the dates and PLEASE plan on attending as many as possible to support your fellow Gems!! Our comraderie is where we shine! There are some awesome trips coming up! Since December, I’ve been quite busy, but I did manage to find a few interesting things to share with all of you! For instance, did you know that there is another, better discount fuel program for diesel RV-ers?? I’ve checked it out and it is legitimate and has gotten great reviews - https://www.tsdlogistics.com/services/fuel-program/ . I will probably be signing up, also. It works at all major truck stops in the commercial lanes. It does require access to a checking account (they say it works with Canadian, too, but my friends here say ‘No’!), but the way to do that is to open a secondary one strictly for them. I currently have one that I use only for when I’m selling on eBay. You only need to make sure there is enough money in that account to pay for your fuel-ups. This amount is not deducted from your account for 2-5 days. Their fee is 5% of the savings per gallon (if retail is $3/gal and the EFS price is $2.50/gal, the charge would be 5¢/gal). Feel free to read up on it at the link above. Also, if you have rubber valve stems on your TPMS, please change them out to STEEL ones! The rubber ones will crack and leak! No, I have yet to purchase a TPMS system, but will soon! When I get home, I will also look into front end stabilizers and have the Mobileye system installed on my coach as I believe it is worth the cost. Of course, this is just my opinion after doing research. And time marches on….
