Medical Device Excellence Award (MDEA) competition. The competition

is a premier awards program for the medical technology community.

Product candidates are evaluated on the basis of design and engineering

features that improve healthcare delivery, change traditional medical

practices, and provide enhanced benefi ts to patients.

IDEA Award

For 31 years, the International Design Excellence Awards® (IDEA) has

recognized excellence in product design. 20 world-renowned design

experts spent weeks evaluating thousands of international entries from

39 countries. In April, the jury convened for days of hands-on judging and

evaluation, emerging with their choices for the coveted IDEA 2011 Gold,
