I am graphic design student from London currently studying a BA honours at University of Creative Arts, Epsom. I enjoy working across a large variety of analog and digital processes. I try to embrace accidents and like to create new techniques for print making and photography.

FEBUARY 2011

A portraiture brief set by The Girls.

In order to achieve a portrait depicting multiple visuals and character into one, each face has been photocopied onto a sheet of acetate, allowing the composition to be manipulated and a numerous amount of images to be created.

MARCH 2011

Wood to Wood is a response to a brief concerning a direct mail piece for a paper company. Working alongside Mika Vaajoki, Urjuan Toosy and Laura Heckford, we produced a call to action containing a seed, and an on demand direct mail piece denoting the life cycle of paper in its medium (i.e. wooden covers, virgin paper, 7 stages of recycled paper, news print and toilet paper).

D OJANUARY 2011

Designer Mary Ikoniadou came in to my university to write a brief for a collaborative one day project focusing on translation. We decided to re-appropriate and reinterpret the Mary’s original ‘Making do’ magazine by dividing and splitting it between us. Working with the material we had to adapt the pages we were given, and then pass onto the next person. By the end everybody had worked on every section of the magazine creating a completely unique and individual publication of the original ‘Making Do’ magazine, which will be appearing on the Making Do website.

04OCTOBER CALENDER SPREAD

DECEMBER 2010

In response to a brief from Vaughan Oliver. I was asked to produce an unorthodox calender spread for the month of October. Our tenth month, reviously the eighth month in the old Roman calender, it is displayed here using eight (out of ten digits) from each hand model. This work was produced in collaboration with Mika Vaajoki.

05REVERTING TO T YPE

DECEMBER 2010

Exhibition poster for New North Press’ Reverting to Type, a refreshing display of typographic works from letterpress studios worldwide. A small number graphic design students were handpicked from universities in the London area, I was lucky enough to take part in a collaborative piece which was exhibited.
