The Ancient Ohio Valley Copper Conference
The building will be open from 10:30 AM on Saturday November 1st with the welcome address beginning at noon. Presentations will run until 5:30 PM when we will take a break for supper, then pick back up with additional presentations until about 10 PM. Sunday will open presentations at
9:30 AM, break for a meal at about 1 PM, pick back up at 2:15 PM and run until about 6 with presentations and close with a panel discussion that could run until late Sunday evening. Ample
time will be set aside for Q&A. Displays will remain available for viewing at least until beginning of panel discussion.
Accommodations: Holiday Inn Express, Budgetel, Budget Inn, Theroff's Motel (all in very easy driving distance to the venue). Additional accommodations are available in Vincennes (22 miles).
Registration: $20 in advance (by October 15th, Rick Osmon, 10495 N 475 East, Odon, IN 47562) or $25 at the door ($10 / $15 w/ valid student ID). Light beverages and snacks included.
We also plan a site visit driving tour on Monday (perhaps extending into Tuesday) for some of the more important sites in the immediate area.
