Anaphylaxis treatment

• This is medical emergency • Requires rapidly acting treatments • Adrenaline given IM and dose repeated every 10min until patient stable. • Late relapse can prevented by IM or slow IV chlorphenamine (antihistamine) and hydrocortisone . • Oxygen should be given in high concentration • If marked bronchospasam salbutamol. • If persistent hypotension IV fluid such as saline given
