Firstly from this image we can see that it still contains a main central image, this is common in a variety of hip-hop magazines , It usually contains iconographic materials such as chains watches and hats used to show dominance which is a common theme in the hip-hop industry.Additionally we see that the main focus of this contents page is the main central image which takes up the page, this is used in a similar way to front cover as its main purpose is to assert dominance and power

Furthermore from looking t the word contents above in this magazine we see that its played in a different way in comparison to other magazine, this shows the audience that its unique and different to most magazine, by separating its self from other s it gives the brand their own look

Additionally from looking mainly on the central image we see that the artist is showing his tattoos this is used as it is a big part of the hip-hop stereotype.

Additionally the word vibe written on top of the magazine is small in comparison to other magazines in which they stand out, this is because vie is already a well known brand and because of it being unique it doesnt have to use their name to set them out from other magazines.

We can also see on the left hand side of the magazine there are the feature it contains with sub headings which makes it easier for the readers to find

In this magazine firstly we see in the title the word weThis word is used to create a sense of unity and community amongst the fans to make them sound as one .

In this magazine we see the main central image is of Tulisa and is big and is across the page as its used as celebrity endorsement to attract target audience which could potentially be young girls and teenagers as well as pop lovers this could further be used to catch the audiences attention.

Furthermore in the title of the magazine the colours of the words are black except for the hart which is used to emphasis the love for pop magazines and suggest they are irresistible

Also when looking at the magazine overall we see its really colourful and bright this is used as bright colours is something always associated with pop and also to stand out about other magazine genres.

In pop magazines we also see that in the front covers they tend to be colourful and packed, in the contents page we can also see it contains a lot of features and images which shows they tend to be similar to the front covers

We can also see that in the contents pages on the magazines they are a variety of images amongst the side of celebrities which is used to appeal to the target audience and attract them to the magazine

In rock magazines we see that colour scheme is similar to that used on the front covers which is primarily black or white predominantly dull colours, this is found in the rock industry generally, it contrast from the majority of magazine making it unique and stand out.

We also see here that there are subheading above the features, this makes it easier for the readers to see what the magazine is offering, and also allows the readers to locate them.

From looking at the overall style of the magazine we see that there are a variety of images as well as text, this is so that its not seen as boring to the fans but also fun.

Additionally from looking at the title saying contents is written in yellow which makes I stand out therefore making it clear that its the contents page and not the front cover.

Furthermore from looking at these images we see that the celebrities used have symbols which shows the audience the genre on the magazine fro example the main image on the right we see a tattoo on the mans neck which symbolises the rock genre

Firstly when we see the contents page of this magazine we see that its clear it contrast from others, for example its more organised in terms of text and images which is similar to the front cover whereas pop magazines fro example is more scattered around the page.

The colour scheme of the contents page additionally is also similar to the front page its used no more than three times which gives the magazine a calm and gentle vibe very similar to the front cover of the magazine.

Also when looking at the sides of the magazine we see all the images, they tend to be of middle aged men and women which shows the target audience which may be adults from their 30s onwards.

Furthermore when looking at the images we see a lot of them contain objects associated with the classical genre for example the violin and also the piano.

We see that in the classical magazines they also contain celebrities which is popular in the genre for example in this case Shannon mercer, this is used to attract and catch the attention of the targeted audience

In this magazine we see that its mainly dull, there are very few images in comparison to other magazines for example kerrang magazine's we see that this mainly differs from the front covers which tend to be full of images and text.

This contents page have the features running down the side, this make it very easy for the readers to locate this being because firstly there are subheadings in bold and also because of the lack of images or text.

The contents page for jazz magazines contain very few images however still have a main image, in this we still see objects relevant to the jazz genre for example we see a xylophone, this is something we expect to see in the genre.

Jazz magazines tend to be amongst the most unpopular magazines, their colour scheme makes the magazine look dull and also their lack images contributes to this.
