What is Se7en about?This film is about two detectives who are eager to hunt for a serial killer. The serial killer explains his crimes as absolution for the world’s ignorance of the Seven Deadly Sins. The two detectives (Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman) follow every step of the serial killer.

The actors name has been written in a spooky font, almost as if it is hand written. The font appears mysterious and suspense which links with the genre as a typical thriller film is meant to create suspense.

The text changes from thin to thick, making his name stand out. The thickness increases the importance of his role.The font links with the storyline as it suggests he is one of the main characters

The constant change of the thin and thick lines implies something that is hidden and does not want to be see. This relates to the storyline as Morgan Freeman has a role of a detective so he has to be careful and hide certain things or information.

The font of this title is non serif with parts of the letters fading to black.The font gives a sense that something is missing. The missing parts could link with the people the serial killer killed. This links with the genre because the title creates suspense as the font is not fully white and we see some black parts when it is meant to be white.

The title at the right sides are both blurred. The font is the same throughout the title. However, we cannot really see the font at the end (screenshot number three) because the same title is duplicated and has overlapped. This connects with the storyline when the killer keeps killing people.

The contrast of the two colors makes the title stand out and makes it clear to read. The black background emphasizes each letter if the title, especially the title in the second screen shot.
