In many bikes , while running large problems occurs like overheating of engine , frictional losses so it becomes necessary to analyze them. This problems have adverse effect over the viscosity of engine oil ,indirectly affects performance of vehicle. Thus it is very much necessary to eliminate it, and can be done by effective cooling of engine.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of this project are: 1. To improve lubrication system. 2. To maintain the viscosity of engine oil. 3. To increase heat dissipation rate. 4. To reduce the frictional losses in engine. 5. To reduce the vibration in the engine.

FUNCTIONS OF LUBRICANT OIL

1. Keep moving parts.2. Reduces the friction.3. Transfer heat.4. Carry away contaminants and debris.5. Protect against wear.6. Prevent against corossion.

PROCEDUREFirst we took readings of temperature at

steady condition without system. 1. Steady condition – 0 km 2. Running condition – 40 km Then by implementing our system After setup , once again we took reading 1)steady condition – 0 km 2)running condition- 40 kmThen we compared reading of both

observations.

CONCLUSIONThus we maintain the viscosity in

the engine by effective cooling and it reduces the frictional losses ,vibration and increases the heat dissipation rate, the lubrication of the system improves and Indirectly the performance of bike Improves.
