This documentary poster shows the main character in a
medium close up as the central image. The colours used
are similar to the McDonalds colours which shows it has
something to do with fast food. At the top it has a review
which says “I’m Lovin’ It” linking to McDonalds once
again. The title is in the centre and bold to grab the
audiences attention. The poster also has a billing block
with the director’s name and social media links. It also
has reviews to show the audience it’s has high ratings
and is a documentary to watch .

In this poster we see the awards the documentary won at the
top. Underneath this is reviews from magazines telling the
audience it is a documentary too look out for. From the title
“American Blackout” ,the American flag as a background
and the reviews you can tell the documentary is about the
elections which happened in America a couple of years
back. The reviews from popular magazines shows that it is a
documentary to watch. At the bottom it has the billing block
which contains information about the director and stars of
the documentary.

In this poster we see the title of the film in bold at
the top. The main image is of penguins in the
centre of the poster, from this it hints to the
audience the film is about penguins. At the bottom
of the poster it has the billing block which gives
the audience information on the direction and
social media links. This poster looks more like a
film coming out in cinema than a documentary
poster.
