What can Quantitative Approaches Do?

CPI: Construction Pollution Index

Definition: a quantitative measure of pollution and hazards (P&H) generated by a construction project or a specific construction operation during construction.

Equation:

CPI — CPI of a construction project;CPIi — CPI of a specific construction operation i;hi — P&H magnitude per unit of time generated by operation i;Di — Duration of the construction operation i;n — Number of construction operations that generate P&H.

What can Quantitative Approaches Do?

IRP: Incentive Reward Program

Definition: a quantitative analysis & control tool for on-site material management, and to motivate workers to reduce material waste.

Equation:

i — Materials;j — Groups;Q — Quantity of material;P — Price of material;C — Cost of material;n — Number of tasks using material i.
