THE MAIN IMAGE- is of a famous rapper called Dizzee Rascal and he is dominating the whole of the magazine. He is also on a canted angle and looks as though he is popping out the front cover, which catches the readers eye. The main image of the rapper looks happy which represents the light hearted tone of the magazine.

THE MAIN COVER LINE- This tells the readers who is on the front cover of the magazine if they don’t already know who it is. The use of the main cover line anchors him which tells the readers that he is well known and loved.

Barcode-date/issue/price- The barcode shows that it is a professional magazine so therefore it can be bought so that the NME can make a profit. It also tells us the price and the issue of it

THE FOOTER- This shows the readers who else will be featured in the magazine and this also might make them want to buy the magazine as they may be a fan of the ‘indie’ bands.
