The primary optical area

The star – they have added the star of the movie in the primary optical area because this is where the viewers will first look and by letting the viewer’s know who the main actors are going to be will attract more people if they like the actor that is going to be in the movie

Movie title- the movie title is in the place where most people will look so this is the place where people will look for title and they get to show it to more people. The font that is used for this as well as the slogan is an old type of text that is used to symbolise that this movie is like some of the old action thriller movies e.g. good fellows

Slogan – they have used a slogan to entries people into watching the movie they have put this into the primary optical area because it is the place that will draw the most attention

The terminal area

Release date- the release of the movie is in the strong fallow area this has been done because this is where people will look at after the primary optical area

Cross- The cross is seen in the background in the strong fallow area this is done to symbolise graveyard and death these are some themes that appear to be part of the movie .But also in Christianly the cross is meant to be a symbolisation of hope and faith

Pond- the main character Liam neson is standing in a pool of water that is a strong red colour. This is meant to symbolise blood this shows that there will be some violence in the movie. This shows the viewers that it is not the type of movie that children should watch because it is more aimed at older people.

Axis of orientation

Colour – the colour of the movie poster is black and white this is used to show that this is a series movie witch gives us hints about the genre of the movie with it coming across like it is an action drama . Also the title and receive date is red to symbolise blood

Week fallow area

In the week fallow area has mainly the same thing as the thermal area but with not as much going on the only thing worth noting is a modalism in the background this is done to give more of a graveyard excretion it also gives the sense as death so there is a good chance that somebody or multiple people will die in this movie. This is usually expected with an action movie with Liam Neeson in it

There is not much in the strong fallow area other than the title and the actors name cross over to it . This is done to show that this is a big movie and a big actor that it needs to use the full top of the page to because it is saying that this movie is going to be that good .
