Ongoing Communication
• The Transition Board Chair, Tim O’Connor, provides quarterly updates to both Boards and this will continue throughout 2020
• Presentations were given to GUI Annual Delegates Meetings and ILGU District Annual General Meetings in late 2019 as well as to the GUI and ILGU National AGMs early in 2020
• Bulletins have been circulated to clubs and posted to Golfnet.ie and golfireland.ie throughout the year

Regional Zoning Workshop
• A workshop was held in Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort on 30th October 2019
• Volunteers from the GUI and ILGU attended and were tasked with dividing each Region into 2 or 4 Zones for the purposes of elections and administration.

Survey of Golfers on New Website
• A survey was issued seeking golfer input in January 2020• 3427 responses were received
• More detailed consultations are ongoing on foot of survey
• The tender process has been completed for ‘best in class’ website to replace Golfnet.ie
• The new website will be launched alongside the World Handicap System (WHS) on 2nd November

Survey of Golfers on Inter-Club Competitions
• A previous survey of golfers was issued in December 2019• There were 7,130 respondents (29% women, 71% men)
• 69% (4,899) of respondents play in Inter-Club events
• Two options were presented in this survey.
