Let me start by saying that I am not a Muslim; I have not been down south; nor was I taught by the teachings of Koran. I am not used to calling Allah as my God; neither did I grow to the firings in Maguindanao. Yes, Mr. Iqbal, I did not know for a fact what the narrative of being a Moro is; but, Sir as much as you and the rest of your gang is entitled to the peace process; I, as a Filipino, am also entitled to voice out my sentiments relative to this peace accord. Sir, sorry, but I stand firm that the Bangsamoro Basic Law should be abolished! It is unconstitutional in many aspects---form of government, delegation and separation of power to cite some. Time-honored is the principle that sovereignty resides in the people and all government authority emanates from them. How can the government give powers neither the Constitution nor the electorate vested in it? Also, decentralization of power is askew with the policy of the state of unity and harmony in its territory. In the BBL, powers would be given to the Bangsamoro government; some will be retained by the Central Government while a large portion shall be shared by both. I do not conform; this is too good to be true—there is so much to be given, too less to be retained while the concurrent powers are undeniably tilted in favor of the Moros. Apparently, this is not a mere decentralization of power but is a creation of a state within a statea patently illegal act in our Constitution—something that could be potentially used as an ammo against the Philippines in the international arena. To Ferrer and Deles, please Madams, I call for your resignation! I cannot brand you as incompetent stewards because your credentials are remarkable to untarnised. But, in the past probe hearings and interviews, I was perturbed and felt sold-out because you have conveyed efficiently that you are not on our side Madams; rather you are MILF-allies--brainwashed by their twisted ideologies. Why?? Aren't you supposed to be the representatives of the Filipino? You should be the one protecting our interests, you should be the one weighing the consequences of this deal, you should be our voice in that agreement and you should represent our grievances and try to work it out with the MILF as evenhanded as possible!!! To PNoy, please for the namesake of your parents, stop your obsession on the Nobel Peace Award. Sir, you are putting into jeopardy the lives of millions of innocent Filipino people and the future generations. Do not compromise the peace of the territory and throw into peril the sovereignty of the Republic just to etch your name in the world politics. However, I will not blame everything on you, since I can really understand your incompetency and your tendency to be swayed by your political advisers on decisions that are critical to the country. It is not really your fault Sir; I have wholeheartedly accepted the dire situation of the Philippines under your administration. To our legislators please take caution in scrutinizing the draft of this law. Monstrous power is looming to be acquired by the MILF. Please be guided that

Let me start by saying that I am not a Muslim; I have not been down south; nor was I taught by the teachings of Koran. I am not used to calling Allah as my God; neither did I grow to the firings in Maguindanao.Yes, Mr. Iqbal, I did not know for a fact what the narrative of being a Moro is; but, Sir as much as you and the rest of your gang is entitled to the peace process; I, as a Filipino, am also entitled to voice out my sentiments relative to this peace accord.

Sir, sorry, but I stand firm that theBangsamoro Basic Law should be abolished! It isunconstitutionalin many aspects---form of government, delegation and separation of power to cite some.Time-honored is the principle that sovereignty resides in the people and all government authority emanates from them. I do not conform; this is too good to be truethere is so much to be given, too less to be retained while the concurrent powers are undeniably tilted in favor of the Moros. Apparently, this is not a mere decentralization of power but isa creation of a state within a statea patently illegal act in our Constitutionsomething that could be potentially used as an ammo against the Philippines in the international arena.

ToFerrer and Deles, please Madams, Icall for your resignation!I cannot brand you as incompetent stewards because your credentials are remarkable to untarnised. But, in the past probe hearings and interviews, I wasperturbed and felt sold-outbecause you have conveyed efficiently that you arenot on our sideMadams; ratheryou are MILF-allies--brainwashed by their twisted ideologies. You should be the one protecting our interests, you should be the one weighing the consequences of this deal, you should be our voice in that agreement and you should represent our grievances and try to work it out with the MILF as evenhanded as possible!!!

ToPNoy, please for the namesake of your parents, stop your obsession on the Nobel Peace Award. Sir, you are putting into jeopardy the lives of millions of innocent Filipino people and the future generations. Do not compromise the peace of the territory and throw into peril the sovereignty of the Republic just to etch your name in the world politics. However, I will not blame everything on you, since I can really understand yourincompetencyand yourtendency to be swayed by your political adviserson decisions that are critical to the country. It is not really your fault Sir; I have wholeheartedly accepted thedire situation of the Philippines under your administration.

To ourlegislators please take caution in scrutinizing the draft of this law. Monstrous power is looming to be acquired by the MILF. Please be guided that we should preserve the supremacy of the Constitution at all times. Unless we amend the present law of the land; such colossal transfer is prohibited.

To Mr. Iqbal, Sir, you failed to persuade meas much as you cannot make me believe you have good intentions in entering the peace talk. Also, stop talking history with me; rather, start speaking the truth!!!Unless the MILF troops come clean and explain themselves in the overkill in the Mamasapano, maybe we can push forward the peace negotiation. I am telling you, it is overkill! It is not a normal war encounter because our men have been killed inclose rangethat fatal shots which you are prohibited to do during a ceasefire with a friendly party. Mind you Mr. Iqbal, intention is determined by the means employed and not by mere assertion to the contrary.

Unless the MILF stop building army and artilleries and begin surrendering their commanders involved in the terrorists incident, then, perhaps we can resume the peace talk. Unless the MILF show good faith in the passage of the BBL and start recognizing the Republic of the Philippines, possibly the peace panel can be reconvened and unbiased people be placed therein. And unless the MILF stop harassing the civilians and committing acts of terrorism, then probably we can set forth the peace accord. Because, it cannot be permitted that the other negotiating party is not in good faith in the agreement. I do not care if we had spent two decades in our search for peace; because, I would rather choose this long road of diligent effort rather than the hasty passage of an unconstitutional law. What should be assured by the government to its people is an enduring peace not sugarcoated with any treacherous ploys.

To the Fallen 44, salute Sir!Ironically, their death played a very crucial role in the peace agreement at the very uncalled for manner.

If not for the SAF troopers, it would not be revealed that our representatives in the negotiation panels are MILF allies and not pro-government. Neither a closer look will be set to the under the table transaction of the peace panel. Hadnt the fallen heroes sacrificed their lives, we will all be surprised one night that war has been waged by this anti-government group.

Let us not permit ourselves to regret not doing anything in this decisive point in our lives. Be critical. Be keen.Read the Bangsamoro Basic Lawand discover why it is BBL short for BABALA. Also find out why it was tagged by Senator Miriam as an act of cloud-computing, why Senator Alan Peter was very adamant in his quest to block this law in the Upper House and why I am writing this note in dissent.

Tomy fellow Filipinos, we arenot anti-Muslim.It is an absurd and baseless accusation! It is a black propaganda being used by those who want division than unification. For years, we are in a continuous struggle to reach out to our brothers and sisters. And these efforts are not put into vain.

We have proved that we can co-exist with the peaceful Muslims in a harmonious environment and succeed in our fight for peace.

However, in the negotiation panel where the other party is a motley organizationa terrorist group like the MILF, no peace can ever be achieved but only war and endless use of arms. They do not want peace, they want power. The government is misled to even think that they can satisfy MILF; they cannot! because the MILF will continuously only ask for more. Remember, greediness leads to violence.

I do not call for warI am with General Espina and General Napeas in knowing that there is so much to pay for it. However,I believe that the present Bangsamoro Basic Law is not the answer to resolve our search for the long lasting peace in Mindanao.

The Constitution should not be twisted in order to adapt to the wants and desires of the few greedy of power and fueled by their own ill intentions.

Let us not waste the lives of the 44 and yield to the threatening of those who spread atrocities.

Stand firm and fight for our right!
