Our Local Network events At IAP2 we host two types of events, they are ‘Pillar events designed to provide a knowledge sharing and learning experience for the attendees and “In the Trenches” events which are social gatherings where attendees can ‘chew the fat’ with peers in a relaxed, informal space.

IAP Pillar events – your platform to showcase and connect How we work with you? Pillar events are either hosted or sponsored by you or your organisation. They provide the opportunity for you to showcase your brand as well as share your insights and knowledge with the IAP2 community. These events can be held at any location of your choice across Australia and New Zealand.

As a host or partner:

If you have exciting new concepts, would like to share your learnings about a major project or a great topic of interest and have a guest speaker in mind or need us to organise one for you then all we need is your venue and catering, we will bring our IAP2 Australasia members to you.

• You partner with IAP2 and our Local Network contact to create the topic or theme of the event with special guest speakers on issues affecting the Practice, this can include speakers, experts or panel members from your own or a partnering organisation.

• You provide the venue and catering or feel free to work with a partner organisation to help share the cost.

• You provide us with the marketing content, logos and we will take care of the promotion

As a sponsor:

We can organise the whole event or just some elements depending on your investment, we have options available from $500 to $5000. Call today to have a chat to see how we can tailor a package for you.

• You partner with IAP2 and our Local Network contact to create the topic or theme of the event with special guest speakers on topical issues affecting the Practice, this can include speakers, experts or panel members from your own or a partnering organisation.

• You provide a monetary contribution to assist in the development of a pillar event. • You provide us with the marketing content, logos and we will take care of the promotion

IAP2 will:

• work with you to develop the themes, speakers or content • help source an external venue if needed • organise the marketing program with you • organise online registrations, run sheet and registrations as needed • can help with organising event logistics and catering pre-event • organise feedback survey that can be tailored to suit

Prior to the event • Recognition on our event webpage via a short company profile and link you webpage. • Advertisement of the event with your brand through a tailored marketing plan including direct

mail and social media.

During the event

• Recognition as host, partner or sponsor for the event • Opportunity to provide a speaker, expert and/or participate on a speaker panel • Verbal acknowledgement in the opening and closing sessions of the Local Area Network • Option to display your organisation banner • Trade tables display • Opportunity to provide gifts, samples, flyers or giveaways

Post Event

• Recognition on social media with post event photos (if available) • Opportunity to provide further contribution to our e-newsletter (pending content)

Terms and Conditions • All host, partner and sponsor opportunities will be awarded on a first-come, first-served

basis. You or your organisation need to be committed to the practice of public participation and community engagement.

• IAP2 Australasia reserves the right to accept or decline hosts, partners or sponsors. • Hosts are required to abide by all laws applicable to your State including liquor licencing

and responsible service of alcohol. • The details in this document are correct at the time of publication. • Placement and size of logos included in the event material will be at our discretion. • All company representatives must complete an event online registration form (for name tag

and catering purposes). • A completed and signed confirmation form must be submitted to initiate host, partner or

sponsor event. The arrangement will be confirmed once the completed form is signed and returned to membership@iap2.org.au.

• IAP2 Australasia retains the right to change the venue if required. • IAP2 Australasia retains the right to cancel the event in consultation with the host, partner

or sponsor. • Sponsorship prices detailed in this document are in Australian dollars and are excluding

GST. • Multiple sponsors from the same industry sector may be accepted into sponsorship

categories. • Host and/or Partners will need to have appropriate insurances in place. • IAP2 Australasia expressly decline any responsibility for the safety of possessions, materials

or property of the Host, Partner, Sponsor or their employees, contractors, suppliers and agents or any other person, for loss, damage, destruction by theft, fire or any other cause, save and except any death or personal injury caused by IAP2 Australasia’s negligence.
